to have no dairy products in the house and this is really the only fake cheese that I think is a great substitute. It is really
This is a review for the vegan Parm cheese only. I am not a fan of most fake cheeses. We are forced, because of allergies, to have no dairy products in the house and this is really the only fake cheese that I think is a great substitute. It is really good, not just ok. Really not a lot of difference from other powdered Parm cheeses. Good on pasta and you can put a ton of it on a homemade pizza and it is great. We skip the other fake stuff. It doesn't give you the gooey stringy effect but the taste is good especially if you add olive oil.

FANTASTIC!!!!
So far I have tried 4 vegan cheeses and this is the only one that is good. In fact they got the texture, smell and taste spot on. If you were not told it was vegan you would never know. The other cheeses I tried either had a plastic texture, chemical aftertaste, odd smell or no smell when it should have or didn't melt when it should have. This cheese gives me hope to find more good quality dairy free cheeses.

Fabulous product.
Love this suff! It tates good, is low low fat, and adds that extra oomph to my meals without the calories. Of course, nothing is as satisfying as the real thing, but this is the best substitute out there. They stopped carrying it in my local store and I am so glad to find it here. Unfortunately, I only see the 4oz jars, not the 8oz. The 8oz sold for $5 in my local grocery store ond the 4oz is quite a bit higher than that for half as much. Darn!

Great Taste
I've been looking for something to take the place of Parmesan for a long time and this one is the best that I've found. I've used it on plain pasta, vegetables, pizza and in sauces. It has a nice, flavor and definitely works in all of my recipes that call for Parmesan. I do however agree with the reviewer here who commented on the price. I had never been able to find this at my grocery store so just gave up and purchased it on line. Today I found it at my local store for less than half the price of the online price. So check your grocery before spending the extra money.

Good taste
I like this product but be aware it's stronger than regular Parmesan so just use a smaller amount. I taste just like Parmesan cheese only stronger. That's fine with me because it lasts longer.

Tastes like Parmesan
To me this tastes just like regular Parmesan cheese (the kind I grew up with - which, admittedly, was Kraft in a green can). This doesn't taste like Parmesan freshly grated off a wedge of real Parmesan cheese, but it still has that savory/salty/sour/cheesy flavor and to me it works really well with everything I use Parmesan cheese on.So basically I put this on spaghetti and pizza. If you can find it in a store you should be able to get it for a better price than $9.Five stars because I have no complaints and this is the best vegan Parmesan I've found.

The first vegan cheese I've had that isn't gross
Most of the time I'd rather have no cheese than vegan cheese. Let's be honest, it's not the real thing. The texture is like normal cheese, and it doesn't leave a weird aftertaste. So this gets 5 stars from me as the best fake cheese I've ever had. It gets me through the craving when a pasta dish absolutely demands cheese. I have only used this as a topper. It's probably on the expensive side to use as a mixing or breading agent, but at any rate, I haven't tried.

Really good and very clever substitute for Parmesan cheese...
This is one of the few vegan dairy-free products that I feel actually tastes pretty darn close to the real thing. My daughter who is able to eat dairy didn't even notice a difference on her broccoli. I love that I can order it on Amazon...I just wish I could also order vegan Mozzarella over the internet.
