Q: Does this product have alcohol in it? Sounds stupid but many of these products are mostly alcohol.

The MSDS shows ethyl glycol, alcohol, and a blend of Alkyd acids. If I understand the chemistry correctly, which is 50/50 to be honest, the acids can react with water to produce a byproduct of ethanol and acetone, which are both flammable and soluable in gasoline. They could rightly market this product as making water burn. Meanwhile the glycol and alcohol are also water soluable and can help any remaining moisture burn with the gas, as a secondary mechanism. I've heard mechnanics swear by this stuff and it appears the chemistry is there.

Q: How much K-100 MG should I use in a 3.5 gallon motorcycle tank for the first time, and how much for each fill-up after that?

There are specific measurements on the bottle. Right off the top of my head I'd say a couple cap fulls the first time and one cap after that. Does not hurt anything to add more though.

Q: What is the shelf life ?

unknown check mfg web site or call them.. so far we have had for 6 months and still good.. This does work for ethanol related problems, fixed 2 different snowmobile carburetor build up problems and a boat motor carburetor issue. Run it through a couple times(possibly more) but it will clear up issue..

The MG is the marine version. Same thing just heavier duty.
