Original Logitech USB Receiver for Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave Pro M/n. Y-rbn90 (Keyboard), M-rcr147r (Mouse)

This is a new purchase to replace the original USB which once served both my Logitech wireless keyboard and my Logitech wireless mouse, that was snapped off at the plug-in site to my floor-residing hard-drive by someone's careless knee. This is effective replacement, which now resides on the top of my desk & plugged into a USB extender port (or whatever it's called), that serves the need. A good resolution to an annoying absence of service.

I ordered this product by referencing the corresponding keyboards it was compatible with. Found the part number for my keyboard and ordered it. When it arrived I plugged it in and no response. I pressed the small reset button on the bottom and Windows 7 recognized it. Could not get it to pair, so I called Logitech support. After 5-10 minutes, the Logitech support associate told me that we had tried everything I could and to return it. It is possible I just received a defective unit. Either way, returned for a full refund so 2 stars instead of just 1.

After re-syncing my mouse and keyboard to the receiver, it worked perfectly. The button was a little hard to reach while it was attached to my computer, but it works like a charm and saved me several hundred bucks and kept me from having to replace my Wave Pro!Thanks Logitech!

I thought I would never use my Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard again. My mom fell off the computer chair trying to get something and completely destroyed the original receiver.. The installation was easy once I read the manual. You cannot connect the receiver without reading the manual.

Doesn't work . My keyboard perfectly matches the product number and serial number listed on the item description but I still cannot get it to pair. Returning this for a refund. Not recommended.

Normally I am pretty good with technology hardware and have few issues. I tried numerous times to have this connect to the keyboard for which it was designated with no success.
