What’s good, about the bigger piece, is that there’s a hole to allow air through in cases where the guard may occlude the mouth while keeping it open. It’s much thicker than all the different brands I’ve tried before, so this hole is beneficial. The downside of this guard is that molding to fit my teeth wasn’t easy when following the instructions (which may have times more ideal for the thinner Mouthguard). I repeated the direction, adding a few more seconds to see if the fitting step would improve but it didn’t. Maybe the manufacturer needs to have different sets of instructions for each size.

Follow the direction but be prepared to adjust depending on your water boiling ability!Much cheaper than visiting a dentist and getting a custom mold! Have done both and this is much more cost effective and just as good if you do it right.Pro tip. When fitting it, push as directed with tongue and fingers but also grind your teeth a little bit back and forth not too soft but not too hard before it sets.

Though said to be moldable to fit your teeth for a more custom bite fit, it was nearly impossible to mold, and after finally getting it to feel like it fit right, it would NOT stay in place in my mouth. Even applied denture glue to keep it in my mouth while sleeping and that didn’t work either as I’d wake up a few hours later searching for the mouth guard in my bed somewhere.

The first time I tried to mold it, I didn’t have it hot enough. But I put the same one back in hot water and molded it. My dentist was going to charge $600, but this works well. I don’t know how the $600 ones would fit, but I sleep better with that money in my pocket.

It seems to be very thick and cumbersome while in your mouth at night

Bought these hoping to mitigate my tooth grinding while I slept. Maybe the instructions needed to be more detailed. They were basically ‘boil, bite and go’. After boiling, I was basically left with a ball of goo that was hard to insert into my mouth and then mold into place. Fortunately I have three more molds to try to perfect the trial and error process.

We've got a grinder and clencher on the house and gave tried to remedy the issue with mouth guards. It's easy enough to use just trim (if needed), boil, cool, fit. This pack comes with 6 guards of 2 different types, 1 case (I do wish there were 2 cases included so my wife and I can both store ours). My wife has a bigger problem with them though as it doesn't really feel like it lessens the severity of her clenching and grinding. She still wakes up with the pressure and pain from doing it and she almost feels like it adds to the issue. For a mild teeth grinder this is great because you do feel the relief but somehow my wife just can't seem to stop. Perhaps the molding process wasn't adequate?

I have used several different night mouth guards for years. I was happy with the price and the quantity of these ones. They come in two different strengths to use for different needs—mild to moderate teeth grinding, and aggressive teeth grinding. They can also be used for a teeth whitening tray, and an athletic mouth guard. The one big issue I had was getting the mold right! With other brands I’ve had no issues, and the directions are the same with this brand. But with this brand, after bringing it out of hot water, and then putting it in ice cold water, it had lost it’s shape quite badly. I continued to put it in my mouth to see if that would help get the shape and mold right, but it did not. It did not fit snugly, it was lopsided, and now I have wrecked one of the molds. I’ll try again, but I don’t have high hopes for the next one either. I would say that maybe I’m doing something wrong, but I’ve used several mouth guards (with almost identical directions of use), and have never had this issue.

The mouth guard is fitted the same way as most other guards, Dip in hot water, dip in cold, shape it to your teeth. The "TWO SIZES" are not for a bigger or smaller mouth, they are for heavy or lighter grinding. The guards are trimmed to fit your mouth. All six could be fit to one person but three will either be too thick or too thin. I think the price is good for 6 guards and the quality is great but if they are only for one user three may end up wasted. This would be the perfect product for two people to share if one is a light grinder and one is a heavy grinder.

These are a life saver. I normally wake up with jaw pain and or headaches due to extreme teeth grinding in my sleep. This is easy to use and form and has made a world of difference for me. Its affordable as well. Ones from the dentist are hundreds of dollars and to be honest I like these ones more. The one i had made from the dental clinic is hard material and not comfortable at all. I highly recommend these!
