Always use this powder and the price is ok I can get it a little cheaper elsewhere I needed now. Because where I get it from was out.

I've been wearing makeup for over 7 years, I am still in my early 20s and I had never used loose powder or any kind of powder to set my makeup. I usually just blot to remove oils throughout the day or use the urban decay de-slick powder to mattify my face. This product does keep your face matte throughout the day, I do not have to blot or re-apply at all and it blends your makeup well. Does not look tacky unless you have applied too much foundation.I was looking for a product that was affordable and comparable to higher end translucent setting powders. I think this product if very finely mild. It has a very strange scent to it, I can't explain it the smell, but it does not go away immediately after application.I think this powder does the job to spread a light layer to set on your whole face but very minimally. I do not recommend this powder as something to set your concealer with though. This powder WILL show on camera. It shoes a very strong cast if you apply it under your eyes. I would not recommend it if you know you will be taking photographs. I recommend this powder for beginners and for someone who is looking for an affordable product.Overall, this product does the job. You get better quality than other drugstore loose powders. I do not think this is comparable to high end loose powders though. I will use this to set my foundation and still have to keep loosing for a powder to set my concealer.

I've never used a setting powder before, but I really need it when I use liquid foundations - I don't mind looking glowy, but I don't like to look shiny. After researching all the different "drugstore" setting powders, I narrowed it down to this one. The product is white, but goes on sheer. It does not settle in my fine lines or look cakey on me - even when using setting spray. I also like that there is NO shimmer in this. It simply makes my foundation look more natural. My only gripe is that it's difficult to get out of the package without it going everywhere, but it's so finely milled, I don't know if that's even possible.I'm so glad Amazon has a large selection of LA Girl, because I've not seen a lot at retailers near me.

The media could not be loaded. TERRIBLE. I'm not sure where most of these good ratings are coming from but this product is literally terrible. If you are looking to buy a product to bake your face with this is almost useless. It falls off your skin and does not stay put, it is such a fine powder that it just blows away and gets everywhere (a lot of loose powders do but this one literally goes EVERYWHERE), and it just simply does not work. I bought this to use as a product to bake with but it does not stay on your face at all. The feeling of it is like a rubbery nasty feeling on your face and it smells like pure chemicals. I was looking for a good cheap product to use to highlight and bake my face and let me tell you girl this is not it. This doesn't even work to set your entire face it is just overall awful. A good alternative is the coty airspun loose powder. It is AWESOME. I went to my local walgreens and bough the coty one after I had received this LA girl powder in the mail because it was so terrible for me. The coty airspun powder is cheap and it's hard to get on amazon because it is always out of stock so check your local drug stores. It's only $7.99 USD. DO NOT BUY THIS LA GIRL PRODUCT. Some of their other products are good but this one did not work for me at all. It does look really nice and give a glow or blur or both, I get positive reactions to my face from people. But what I like best is that unlike other powders, it's pretty easy to control the amount you get out at one time. I think every other loose powder i've ever tried is too loose, and I end up spilling it on me or wasting it because it just dumps out or spills out or flies out. You have to work a little to get enough out and I LOVE THAT.
