Fantastic product paired with the A1 fertiliser my grass seed germinated and came through within a week. Lawn is 2 weeks in and it's lush and thick. No weeds and great value for money.

I started the renovation of my lawn on the last weekend of March 2024 after applying the A1 lawn pre seed fertiliser about 2 weeks beforehand and then an extra half a dose at the time of seeding. I cut the existing lawn as short as I could then scarified in 2 directions. Applied a good amount of seed and then covered with around 1 inch of jacks magic compost which may have been too thick of a layer but it still did the job. After watering regularly to keep the top layer moist I started to see shoots after around 6 days. More regular watering and another 2 ish weeks I cut for the first time and have been regularly mowing twice a week since and I could not be happier with how it’s turned out! I have a large dog who has caused a couple of wee burn patches but that is easily sorted by a patch repair. Also watch out for birds they were all over the lawn to start with but they don’t seem to do too much damage. Overall this is a great product all it needs is regular watering and patience. Will definitely be using this again. Also my lawn is approx 5m x 4m and I still have around a quarter of a bag of seed left.

I don’t review really, but had to leave this one.I’ve been trying to rescue a lawn that was in a pretty terrible state and as part of it I needed to remove tonnes of moss, overseed and reseed areas. I have tried lawn seed from all the big brand stores (B&Q, Homebase etc), garden centres and places like B and M (surprisingly, the best of a bad bunch). Pretty much all of them resulted in little growth and well fed pigeons.Having tried a 1kg mix of fescue/ryegrass/bent, I found a lot more success, but this mix is better still. Pretty good rates of germination and fairly rapid growth on bare patches and the blade looks to be thickening up nicely. It’s also reasonably shade tolerant.It’s not perfect (none will be unless you live in Florida or somewhere nice and temperate), I would like 100% germination and thicker coverage, but mix with the fescue and it makes a good springy lawn. It’s a tad pricy, but on balance, worth it.Make sure you prep well (raking and aerating) and feed your lawn a few days before sowing, you should have nice results.

Good quality and grows well. Shame the price has risen but haven’t everything.

Very nice grass and grows well, this one claims to be dog and kid resistant but time will tell.I had to dig out an old pond liner causing a horrbile dead patch in my lawn and completely start fresh at the end of the hot summer.If you follow the instructions & keep it watered it will start sprouting in just over a week but dont be in a rush to cut it, let it grow. Its not fully grown back yet but its looking good so far and I have enuf seed left to re sow and thicken it up in the spring.

Really good seed, took well and quick. The birds love it too! If anything this is too good, created a new section of lawn from scratch using this seed and it’s come up a really vivid dark green which makes my light yellow/green established lawn look rubbish .

I can’t rate this product yet because it has not germinated yet it has had plenty of water but the air temperature has not been adequate enough for it to germinate yet🥴
