Although I returned them these are made very well. The fittings are solid brass not like the cheap ones you get to made to look like brass.

These are exactly what I was looking for. They are compatible with the Lowe's Project Source components I recently purchased. They are NOT compatible with the less expensive (and more common) connectors that don't have the O-ring near the tip of the male adapter. That's why the less expensive ones usually leak a lot when the water is under pressure. So quite happy with my purchase. Now I have more of the female parts than I really need, but that's OK.

First type of quick connects that I bought that were easy to hook up and did not leak. By easy hook up I mean they are connected and disconnected often

Don't buy those cheap quick connects you can find at home centers. They may work at first but I have yet to see one that didn't eventually leak like a sieve. These? Not a drop. No more getting almost as much water on me as on the flowers. They are well worth the money.

Replaced plastic/metal connectors from big box store that were impossible to separate. These are easy to separate (so far) and don't leak, either!

Only i disliked that i didn't notice when i orders is the male end of the connecters has female style threads, and the female quick connect has male style threads. This was backwards to how i wanted to set up hoses BUT wasn't a deal breaker just something to watch out for the next time. Otherwise, they seemed to be well made and have tight connections.
