Spike Island

I honestly only bought this movie because I'm just becoming a Nico Mirallegro fan and have been binge watching everything he's in. I didn't expect to like the movie that much but I really did. The guys in the cast came off as actually being close and interacted really well. It felt like I was actually watching a group of friends go thru an adventure to travel to see their favorite band and go thru ups and downs together in the process. I've told maybe 3 people now to watch this movie because if you like music or the Stone Roses (who I'm also a fan of now after this movie) then you will most likely find this entertaining!

I love this movie!!! I'm a fan of the Stone Roses, so this was amazing to watch. I'm so glad I gave this movie a try, because it was worth it. It contains such a fun storyline that I enjoyed as well. I would definitely recommend this!!!

Cute story

Great movie. Got it for my wife, and I really enjoyed it as well.

ok, so it was hard for me to understand the thick british accent without subtitles, however emilia clarke is in it and for me that is an auto 5 stars, yes I would give Jurassic Attack five stars just because she is in it.

Great soundtrack and the cinematography was BEAUTIFUL! Loved the humor, but unless you're familiar with the Manchester accent I would make sure to turn on the subtitles.

Blame nostalgia for my favorite band and one of the best years of my life, but this film was brilliant. I only watched for the Roses, but the coming of age love story was entertaining even if predictable. Will watch again just to dance....

Loved it. The Stone Roses were icons of that era, still are. The film captured the times.

Some have dismissed this fictional film based on the year Stone Roses organised one of the most renowned gigs of British music history. Most Stone Roses fans, love this romantic tale, based around its event and the era of teenage struggles and triumphs. A must see for any adult who wants to be taken back to that amazing year. The music, the clothing, the struggles, the parties, the attitude. For those that made that gig, for those who were there on the outskirts of Spike Island, for those who wish they had been there. An amazing film. DVD arrived immaculate, and a rare addition to any film or music fans collection. Until Sally, I was never happy.

Good British film, this is what we do the best heart warming down to earth damn brilliant films 🇬🇧.If you not seen it please do I believe it’s still on Netflix.
