Great pins for holding the tail of necktie in place
Great pins for holding the tail of necktie in place. Most of the keeper loop on my neckties are either too low or non-existent. So, these seemed to be a good fit for devising one's that worked without relying on an seamstress. Most of my ties are silk or silimiar threading and fits through and float almost freely; meaning it doesn't damage my ties. Note, I can't really tell if it's anodized copper or a nice thin film paint without doing a metallurgical test; however, it behaves in other ways (dense, stiff yet malleable enough to be consided pliable). Haven't said that and for how I'm using them, the worse case senario has been my being in an humid environment for a few hours, they haven't bled any corrosion on to any of my ties. You know the greenish powder that forms on pennies (maybe I'm dating myself) Anyway, I haven't truly tried them as I have aluminum bars or stainless steel pins in the past. I did scratch one with the edge of a blade to see the metal below the surface; and, it didn't have that bright copper hue ... looked more like a copper alloy. Regardless, I like them enough I'm buying another pack of them. I have a lot of ties and they're cheap enough to just leave them pinned on.

Very Sturdy and High Quality
These are great for multiple uses and very sturdy. I've had cheap safety pins that bend with slight pressure and won't be usable a second time and just makes me mad.
