Wow!

The comforter is gorgeous. It went perfectly with my black and white glam bedroom theme. Naturally, I wanted to love it. But, as other reviewers have said, it sheds like crazy.. I have black fur all over my apartment and body. I hoped after washing it several times the shedding would decrease. But I have now washed it 3 times and it sheds even more than the first time. I always washed it on gentle and dried it on low, using front loading machines.It also feels like a weighted blanket. I'm a woman under 100 pounds so it would weigh my body down to where it would feel difficult to change positions .It does get very warm. If I set my phone on it, it will immediately overheat. And sitting on top of the comforter, I'd find myself sweating. I'm extremely cold-natured and at times would also find myself burning up under it.I wanted to love this so bad. But, sadly, I've reached the last day of my return window and it is time to look for a different product.Hopefully I just received a defective one, as I scoured reviews before purchasing and many people seemed to not have a problem with it. But I wasn't willing to try a replacement for this same item.In summary, it is very comfortable and cozy, and would be perfect for winters, and for someone who could handle the weight of it. If I could buy it again, though, I'd probably try purchasing from a different website.

The comforter is wonderfully soft, but the light color does create problems if you have young children (like we do!). Also, although we ordered a California King size, the comforter is still too small. Not sure why, as our mattress set is fairly standard size. Overall, I like it, but the small size loses two stars.

I like this comforter it’s really nice and soft. Not so “lightweight” more of a winter comforter if you ask me but that depends on what you’re looking for. I do recommend however sizing up if you’re looking for that extra length. I got a king size and my bed is a king. Runs kind of short if you ask me but preference; Wouldn’t mind if it was a little longer but I’m satisfied.

If you’re laying on the comforter, make sure your room is cold, this thing is like sleeping on an oven very HOT. Sheds like crazy aswell. After awhile the comforter will lose its shine and will look flat and dull.. it only looks good when its new.
