Yibuy One Pair Red Metal Pickups for Electric Guitar with Ceramic Magnets & Umbrella-head Screws

These humbuckers are in a custom "Super-Strat" that I built. Set up with a Push-Pull Split humbucker wiring, the singles are clean, and the Full humbuckers are chunky. Perfect for what I was after. Personally, they sound better than the SD's I own, and I honestly don't see a point in paying SD prices, when these appear to be better quality and sound almost exactly the same, (Better when it comes to metal/Hard Rock styles of music.)

I used these to upgrade the pickups in my Epi SG. The original pickups were ok, but a little muddy for my tastes. These have a good balance of higher end and mid frequencies. I probably could have gotten a little better for a little more money, but not unhappy with these.UPDATE: 12-27-2021 I put a set of Seymour Duncan Invaders in my Jackson RR and did a comparison with these. Gotta say, these are not far off the mark. Close enough at the price for me to think I'll use them again.

Read these reviews.. Some seem unfair. These are really great pickups. 4 wire, so you can split them. I left them as both dual humbuckers. I shielded my guitar so no squeals. Sustain for days, and on a clean channel they are bright and clean. They crunch too. Can't go wrong with these.

So obviously these are not Seymour Duncan or Dimarzio pickups. However for the price the tone is exceptionally good. I am definitely not a tone snob and I put these in an Ibanez RG series guitar. It really brightened up the highs and mitts and was a great replacement for the muddy sounding V7 And V8 Pickups that came stock with the guitar.

I'm really amazed by this, they sound awesome and worth every penny. Buying my second set for my next project...

Returned. Both pickups were exactly the same. Resistances read 8.9 and 9.0 kohms. The wiring was exactly the same length and colors and neither was marked or stamped for bridge or neck. If you buy these make sure to test them to make sure you get what you paid for. I'm guessing thats why some people say they sound strong and some say weak. Shady QC.

They work well for the little money you spend. They also work well compared to budget guitars with stock humbuckers.They aren't the best, of course. But they replaced my squealing Dean pickups.They even have a good clean sound and a pretty good gain sound.

I have no idea how they sound. I ordered them to salvage for parts. They come with double thick ceramic magnets. The screws fit in a Seymour duncan invader, although a tight fit. 4 conductor lead wire seems quality.

I pickup sono microfonici perché la ceratura è stata eseguita probabilmente in modo frettoloso e prima di inserire le viti che fungono da poli magnetici. Non hanno neanche un butto timbro, ma la microfonicità li rende inutilizzabili. ovviamente li restituirò.

Reçus le jeudi,montés sur mon ibanez RGR le vendredi et testés le samedi a la répet,je suis complètement conquis par le son de ses micros qui contre toute attente mon apportés aussi un son clair punchy auquel je ne m attendais pas pour des micros normalement exclusivement metal.Ils conviennent parfaitement a une grande parti de mon repertoire qui va du blues énervé au hard en passant par du rock bien gras.Le micro chevalet est tranchant,precis permet de sortir du mix et est très agréable splitté en clair, Crunch ou saturé.Celui du manche est aussi parfait en double comme splitté.Bref sous le charme de leur précision et contre l avis de ceux qui ont essayés leur inspirateur (invaders) arrivent a ètre nuancés aux attaques.A installer d urgence pour tous ceux qui ont des micros anémiques sur leur pelle et qui font du rock patate

Pour le prix, pour améliorer une vieille gratte bas de gamme, en l'occurence une BC Rich Warlock made in China, il ne faut pas hésiter!Du gros son à petit prix!Très correct!
