Leviton 5645-W 15 Amp, 120 Volt, Decora 3-Way/AC Combination Switch, Commercial Grade, Grounding, White

Needed to mount switch inverted, so I needed a 3-way in order create "right/on" positioning. 3-way combo switch fit the bill. Easy to replace and good quality product.

Instructions were straight forward and this fit as a direct replacement for my existing single pole switch.

After reading a review about this product I thought that’s just what I need. Ordered it got it in anxious to get it installed. Read the instructions which I found to be practically worthless had difficulty getting the unit programmed. I went to Honeywell’s webpage and pulled up the instruction sheet for this product and lo and behold they had addressed all the problems with the written instructions. So should you buy one check out the webpage for instructions It is a good unit.

This works perfectly for my needs. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because this device does not allow one to plug the wires into the back of it. I'm used to just stripping the wire and pushing (plugging) it through a small hole in the back of the unit designed for connecting the wire. On this unit, you have to actually screw the wires onto the terminals. It's really not that big of a deal, but it takes more time to connect. The 3-way decora-like switch allows control of my kitchen light while the receptacle outlet provides access to power for appliances requiring 120v AC. I wired it so the receptacle is always hot (on), independent of the switch.

I agree with another reviewer. The switch does not operate smoothly like a full size Decora switch that I replaced this with. It requires some force to switch back and forth. My other issue is that the emergency/night light I planned to leave plugged in to the outlet just blocks the very bottom of the switch as the prongs are not at the very edge of the light. I am returning this and getting the standard 3 way switch + outlet. To me a standard switch is smoother and easier to operate than this particular rocker switch anyhow.

I have two switches on the wall which led to one output in the ceiling, meant for a fan/light combo. I was able to wire this combo switch such that one light switch controls the outlet and the other lightswitch switches the attached light fixture, which is also controlled with the local switch. Worked perfectly for installing my projector!

Works great. Easy to install as 2 independent circuits or one where the switch controls the plug.

It works great. I needed it for my laundry area because the plug was in an unsafe area where the plug would be a tripping hazard for the clothes iron. I also wanted to use this near my pantry (ordered 2ea) to put an inconspicuous security camera into as it faces a doorway but the plug only works when the light is on. I will instead be using this 2nd one for our basement bar. It's functional, but disappointing that the light needs to be on in order to use the plug, but overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Definitively difficult to find in stores. Fits and looks great!
