Excellent auto biography from a truly great guy
I really enjoyed reading this book from a very nice guy. I knew next to nothing about Kraftwerk until reading Wolfgang's story and then watching interviews on You Tube. I immediately followed this up by reading Karl Bartos's autobiography.

The first half is interesting, the last part is not. English edition poorly translated.
I have read the updated English version and what struck me most is the poor writing style. This may be the result of a poor stranslation, but I found a lot of the phrasings awkward, and the book contains a lot of spelling and language errors (and even incomplete words). For the rest, the first part is interesting for Kraftwerk fans, but with a bit of research outside this book, it becomes clear that Flür is the lesser of the 4 and has not contributed to any recording of them since the late 1970s (but toured with them in 1981 even though he did not play on the Computer World album). This is very much ignored in his book (with Flür merely stating that 'there was not much to do in Kraftwerk in the 1980s'). The final part of the book (updated since its initial release) is very odd, with pages of descriptions how well his book was received by fans and the claims Hütter and Schneider made about copyright of specific photos and the drum machine (which is a case of who has the correct perspective of course). Still a nice read, but better editing and proofreading would have resulted in a better book.

Magnífico!
He disfrutado leyendo esta autobiografía. Gracias a ella asoma la "humanidad" de Kraftwerk. Interesantísimo recorrido por la historia de este grupo y la del autor.
