Best Budget Toaster Oven!
So far I absolutely love this little toaster oven. For those with smaller counter space this will work perfectly. The settings are abundant so you can fine tune the type of cooking (top and bottom coils). The only thing I've noticed is the shields protecting the heating elements will dissipate heat around so toast will likely get cinged on the ends, creating a non-uniform toast process. But really who cares. It works well.I haven't tried a small pizza, but the back is concave so you can fit an 8" pie. Kinda cool really.Another small gripe is the lid will slam closed if you give it a push, so I would recommend using oven mits to gently allow the door/lid to close. Maybe repeated slamming of the door could cause issues down the road, no idea on longevity, but so far its great for the price. Also I really like the analogue knobs. I wouldn't trust a high-end electronic keypad panel because the toaster oven gets hot on all sides. Keep it simple!

Great for Toast and French Fries.
I use this mostly for toast and french fries, and it works great. My one complaint is that the pan it comes with it too darn small to cook all the fries I want. So I ended up making a pan out of aluminium foil that nearly fills the whole thing. Works great! Now I'm looking for a real pan that will fit, but it's difficult to find one. (Edit: found a perfect fit: TeamFar Stainless Steel Compact Toaster Oven Pan Tray Ovenware Professional, 8''x10''x1'', Heavy Duty & Healthy, Deep Edge, Superior Mirror Finish, Dishwasher Safe. You can replace the rack with it, or have them both in at the same time.)A note about toast. If you want evenly brown toast, keep three things in mind:1) Use the Toast setting, not the Bake setting.2) Keep away from the middle of the oven -- there is a metal bar that blocks most of the heat and you'll end up with an under cooked line down the middle.3) The wire rack means you'll always have stripes on the bottom.I no longer use my gas oven. This little baby does all I need.

Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven
I like the fact that it is small enough for me to put it on a slide out shelf when I am not using it. It works well but the recommendation for toast is wrong. It says to toast at 450 deg. but that just burns the outside and leaves the inside spongy. Set the temp at 350 for toasting, it works better.

Versatile appliance
I finally switched from my trusty toaster to this toaster oven. Now realizing how many different uses it provides in contrast to my toaster. Instructions for use are clear and simple. I have baked, toasted and warmed in it so far. Great product.

OK, except for big temperature overshoot
The oven works alright, but the 'bake' mode has a big overshoot problem. On the initial heat-up, it will overshoot the requested temperature by as much as 100% (I measured as high as 500F when I set the oven to bake at 250F). After this initial overshoot and cool down, the oven does a reasonable job maintaining the requested temperature (it's a simple hysteresis controller. The hysteresis amount seems to be about +/-10 degrees F).This initial overshoot is probably tolerable for most food uses. However I am using this oven to reflow solder PCBs, so the overshoot is quite annoying.

Love it!!!
With temperatures always high here in the California desert it is very important to keep the house cool. That means no traditional oven cooking. I utilize this toaster as my regular oven. It cooks evenly and quickly. I have had it for about 6 months now and it's going strong.

the electrical cord is barely 12" long
This item made it out of the box, onto the shelf and back in the box. The electrical cord is about 18" long and it is impossible for me to connect it to an outlet. The toaster-oven it was supposed to replace had a cord of approx 36". Measure before you buy. Ridiculous

A Very Good Buy
Just the right size (not a counter gobbler by any means) and so far, heats very nicely and accurately. It's attractive, has nice self-explanatory controls, and the price was right. I hope it lasts at least half as long as my 20 year old Magic Chef did.
