I love the book, the layout, and how the concepts are expressed in a clear and understandable manner.One of the things that I have loved about the book is that it is not about completing activities, it is about to get a certain result.Over the chapter, the author gives his perspective about the meeting request process that every sales rep need to do.This book needs to be in your library.

A $3,000 Workshop On Cold Calling To Set Appointments....For The Price Of A Cheap Lunch
Full disclosure, I haven't quite finished the book. It's a deep dive in cold calling business people to set an appointment. It's obvious the author has rich experience on the phone, setting sales appointments. You learn every facet of the appointment setting process.And at times, it feels like the author is repeating himself. That's because he is. Why? Because these ideas have to be sold. proof has to be given, examples set...you have to know "why" you are doing what you are doing...otherwise, you'll never do it.As a special treat, you learn the real use of voice mail and email.....and you learn the single most important thing you can know in cold calling.....who to call, and who not to waste your time on.Had the author given this as a three day workshop costing a few thousand dollars, I would have felt like I got my money's worth. Solid real world information from someone who knows.

Great Resource For Anyone In Sales
I’ve been in sales for over a decade, and have read everything from Think & Grow Rich to The Sales Bible. This book, is by far the best tool on the market. I say this because it is not a book of common sense ideas and platitudes about successful selling, it is an organized, strategic approach to the most important part of the sales process...Getting the appointment.If you are new to the trade, or a long-time veteran, this book will help.
