These are my "go to" pencils for card making. I have been using watercolor pencils for nearly six years. These pencils work well on watercolor paper and card stock. When using card stock I use a blender pen to soften the color if desired.The first set I bought was by General. I bought the watercolor kit which includes instructions, a pencil sharpener and printed designs for practice. If I remember correctly there are between 24 and 36 pencils in the set and well worth the money. I still have most of these pencils and I rely on them when I want a to be sure the color on the pencil barrel is the same as the lead. These sharpen easily, but more importantly the lead does not break when being sharpened.I recommend this set of pencils if you are new to water coloring and don't want to purchase the more expensive brands or you just want a quality set of water color pencils.

packaged well and arrived as expected. In my opinion, these are the best watercolor pencils I have ever used. Smooth, well blend able, nice colors, keeps a sharp point, and lead seldom breaks if you dry the pencils well after getting them wet. I have tried the other top brands and over all these work the best. My one problem with the pencils is that they don't come in larger sets; 24 is the max I have seen

Great value for price point.

These pencils are absolute garbage. I used to love them but now they suck. It's not very saturated the pigments are weak arteza is a way better alternative. Or if you have the funds get the Derwent inktense watercolor. These Generals fade faster then I don't know what.

If you are searching for colored pencils for your adult coloring books--Kimberly is the place to start! I have been using them for about a year, and they are far, far superior to other brands I have tried. the colors are smooth and they sharpen very well, something I have had a problem with using other brands. They come in small and larger count sets also. I highly recommend them!

This set did not come with a red pencil, but two orange ones...made it impossible to use for my intended purpose...be careful when ordering this if the color selection matters to you!
