The Little Giant Galvanized Chick Feeder and Waterer are well-made products that don't rust and are just heavy enough for baby chicks not to tip over. The waterer did not require stones in the base for my chicks. With 9 chicks, the full feeder lasted for 4 days before I needed to refill. I change the waterer daily for sanitation purposes. It took 3 orders before I received a waterer that was not bent and damaged. Other than that, I'm pleased with the purchase.

I bought it because it looked nice but it gets stopped up pretty regularly and prevents water from draining out. As much as I hate to look at the plastic ones they function much better

Had this for a few weeks now. Perfect for my newly hatched chicks, we still put rocks in the bottom to prevent the accidental "falling asleep while drinking and then drowning" ordeal. But it is shallow enough that after 3 weeks we took the rocks out. Very strudy, snug fit, no rust. Would buy again.Update 5/2020 to add it continues to last through hatchlings with no leaks or rust.

I thought this was a super cute drinking dish for my baby quail. I like the mason jar look... only problem is that the bottom bowl part doesn't screw onto the mason jar very easily and once I do get it on, it's always crooked. Will work for now, but was a little bummed of the quality.

I got this for my new hatch of quail. They couldn't reach the elevated water source. Perfect!
