Traeger BAC365 Pro Series Controller, Black

This was a true ‘plug and play’ upgrade, and it works great. I installed it on a 2013 Texas Elite. The only thing I’d change is to include a temperature probe grommet with the kit. I had to buy an aftermarket model for a ridiculous amount of $$$.

Needed this item to solve a problem with our Traeger- the temperature was not reaching what it should have. Although it said there was a blemish on this item, we couldn't find it. And it worked great with our older model.

I got this to upgrade my Traeger Texas Elite 34 and love it. I like being able to use the meat probes and the temperature doesn't seem to fluctuate nearly as bad (15-20 degrees) as it did with the original controller (20-45 degrees). I saw in some of the reviews that people got different controllers than what was shown so i was hesitant about getting this but i got exactly what was advertised. It had great instructions included even though unless you're color blind you don't need them. I had the new controller installed and the wires dressed out in roughly 5 minutes, you just match the wire colors and on each plug is a colored sticker that you match the the colored sticker on the traeger wiring so the entire installation is plug and play just matching colors.
