I use a laser particle counter air quality meter that measures below 2.5 microns and secondly below 0.5 micron. I didn't do extensive testing, but this seems to be performing about as well as the original so far. My tests were done in house that is kept clean but has airborne particulate matter after cooking or vacuuming. Right at the air exhaust, I get a 0 reading for 2.5 microns and 4-10 for 0.5 micron. That is what is expected. When measured across the room, the drop in airborne particulate matter over time seems to take roughly about the same amount of time.

OEM filters for these cost almost $400 and your replacements are only $250 and they WORK! So here is my story, in pursuit of finding an aftermarket filter I tried (LifeSupplyUSA Aftermarket Replacement, STAY AWAY FROM THAT! It clogs up the unit and doesn't work. That filter was $140 mistake for Heppa.) So it was time to replace the filters again in my system and looking at OEM just thinking, really $400 again ugh. So I came across these Monster branded filters but was hesitant from the past BAD experience from LifeSupplyUSA. Well got the Monsters and they were packaged well as OEM's and look about the same. Check my air flow with OEM filter then put these in and check air flow again, just as good as the OEM's and fits perfect. FINALLY someone who makes a after market for these unites that is almost half the cost. I am so happy with these I rarely write good reviews but this will save me about $150 each time I change all the filters.

Like others I wanted to get new filters for IQ Air unit. These were a littler over $100 savings so I wanted to give it a try. First filter I tried was the pre filter. I put it in and it seemed to work as advertised (though I do wonder how that is really tested here but I’ll take their word for it that it works as good as the IQAir brand). I then installed the HEPA filter (large top level filter). I turned the unit on and air was coming out so I left for it to do it’s thing. I came back an hour or so later and the whole room had a weird chemical smell. Got so bad my throat started hurting. I turned the unit off and smelled the filter and it has a distinct chemical or plastic smell to it. Luckily I kept the original IQAir filter. I even smelled that one and as I would expect It didn’t smell like anything.I wish these worked but in this case you’re paying less and getting less quality. I have already ordered the IQAir filters and won’t be trying others again.

The Pre and HEPA filter is ok but the gas cell carbon filter was sagging and the charcoal pebbles settled 1/2 way making it look like it had 1/2 the charcoal. This is not like the OEM cell filter.
