Q: Does the wireless dimmer come in the cob light kit? what dimmer and power supply to use in different areas after cutting strip?

Thanks for your interest in Armacost Lighting. Yes; the COB kit (421504) includes a remote control which turns lights off and on, dims manually and to preset percentages and manages effects. If you wish to utilize cut strips in other deployments, you will need a 24V power supply and control method. Power supplies such as Armacost Lighting model 860450 or 860600 allow for control using a standard, LED capable dimming 120V AC wall switch. Or if control on the low voltage, DC output side of the power supply is desired, consider ProLine remote control model 513115, ProLine Rotary knob 511129 or Wifi control model 711421.

Q: Do i need 2 wire or 3 wire to extend for a gap? I see the connectors have three wire but the input has 2 wire. Thanks

Thanks for your interest in Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex home. For the Tunable Kit (2700K-5000K) model 421501, you would need 3 wires to extend the gaps. The kit comes with two connectors which can be cut in the middle and extended with additional wire. 18AWG is recommended.

You will also need a control system for the additional tape; we would also recommend Armacost Lighting controls. Both are available on amazon.com.
