I've ordered this hub for remote work at home and also one for use at my office. Works well using either USB 3.1 or Thunderbolt port and provides a stable 4K image at 30hz on an LG panel. These do run a little warm and I did have a problem with one randomly disconnecting, but, the team at Hoyoki was super responsive and were able to resolve the issue quickly. I've tried other USB C hubs which would go crazy when I plugged and unplugged USB devices but this one seems to be the most stable of the ones I've tried. I recommend this one.

I bought this hub because I needed a second SD slot for backup. I only have one USB C port on my laptop so I also needed a hub with an active C port data port vs most other C port hubs which only had the power port. This hub has both. To be truthful, I have only used these two features plus one of the USB 3.0 ports. I intend to try out the HDMI port, but I have not used it yet.Operationally, this hub has worked perfectly as a backup USB C port for an external 1 TB SSD drive as well as a second SD port for my MSI Windows 10 laptop.The hub runs a bit hot so I have it sitting on a copper bar which keeps the hub warm vs hot. I intend to trim the copper bar so I have a six length above and below which will improve the cooling even more.I have never used the hub as a camera interface so I cannot comment on the camera quality.Overall, I am very pleased with this product and can recommend it for the uses I have mentioned above.

I've been using this for about a year as USB hub for my live music performance rig, plus a docking station for my laptop at my desk.So far, the USB has been reliable during my shows, so that's good.SD card reading has worked well enough, and the HDMI port works until I plug in too many things at once. Ethernet has turned out to not be usable for sustained use (big file downloads at gigabit speeds).Aluminum chassis feels solid. It gets pretty hot when I use it for a while. Ordering a heatsink to see if that helps, but for long-term use I'm looking into other options.

After a week this hub caused some very strange, hard to diagnose Internet problems. When a computer was not connected, the hub caused my router to fail. It leaked electric current into the ethernet cable and major problems ensued. The first router looked like it had malfunctioned, and the second one would display a no Internet error.The error would happen sporadically, but it was always resolved after disconnecting the ethernet cable that goes to the hub.This hub was cheap, and I got what I paid for.——-I've been using this device for nearly a week and have been happy with it. I've connected it to a Surface laptop and iPad and both have worked flawlessly.It's so neat that USB C enables these types of cheap, effective, universal docks.

I looked around for about a week trying to find an all in one adaptor for my Mac. I even bought another adapter prior to this and had to return due to not fitting in my computer with a case on. This adaptor has worked great! It connects with only using a single USB C port to my computer (MacBook Pro) and it fits perfectly with my case on. The Ethernet port, 2 USB C additional ports, 3 USB and HDMI are all that I needed. I recommend this and rate it 5 stars, and my experience has been great!

USB C Adapter for my 2015 Macbook. It replaces another manufacturer’s unit that was failing to connect. This Adapter works well and has the connectivity I need. It seems well built with a sturdy metal case. The only minor issue is that an SD card barely inserts into the slot so you have to be careful that you don't break a card handling the adapter.

I don't really like this item, It does work to plug all your things in, but the device gets hot and that does not inspire confidence. Also, charging some devices with it takes forever. Lastly, if I am connecting two hard drives, one of them suffers and the device starts to beep.It was a little expensive for this kind of result, I think. I expected better.

I bought the USB-C Hub multiport adapter. Within a few months one of the USB-C port is failing. The USB port, one of the USB-C port and the ethernet port is still working as long as I do not use it for long hours. If I use the hub for long hours, it gets heated up and stops working.
