While The Stud Next Door is the third book in the Frisky Business series, it most definitely can stand alone. There was something so endearing and intriguing about this book and these characters!Single Dad, Connor, is getting toward the end of his paternity leave and he's in need of a nanny so he can go back to work at Frisky Business, which he co-owns with three of his buddies. Little Marley is the light of his life and he wants to make sure the right person is taking care of her, but finding that person hasn't been easy. Could it be as easy as the girl who is moving in next door?Jessa has moved into a short-term rental in the home of an elderly couple for the summer before she departs for mission work in South America. She's been looking forward to the trip for months and she feels like this change in scenery will do her good. When she meets Connor and Marley, she's immediately taken with the little girl and let's be honest, her Dad isn't bad either!As Jessa becomes Marley's nanny on a short-term basis, she and Connor spend more and more time together, both trying to fight the feelings and chemistry building between them. With her leaving, does it make sense to even start something?I was enthralled in this story from the get-go. Connor was such a great Dad and the way he balanced having a child with his work was great. I also really liked Jessa. She knew what she wanted in life and went after it. They were so good together and add in all their friends and you have the makings of a really entertaining story! I'm looking forward to whatever comes next for this crew!

I loved seeing how it built up and how comfortable they are around each other.This is such a sweet story, without any angst. From Connor's interactions with his little girl, to Connor's feelings about Jessa... it will make you swoon a little. And let me just say their first date was kind of unforgettable, in so many ways!It was so easy how everything just sort of fell into place for these two that yes, I think some things are just fate, indeed.

3.5 stars!I really enjoyed the story. Connor ended up being more than I expected. He was adorable with his daughter and super sweet with Jessa. One thing I wish there would have been more of is backstory so I could really connect with the characters. It was good to see how much Connor had matured by having Marley. In the two previous books he and Caleb were very similar and in this book they are vastly different. I enjoyed the new Connor and it was good to see him get his free and easy spirit back after Jessa came into his life.The reason for three stars is because of the missing character that is supposedly a very important part of the guys lives. In all three books the guys all say they co-own their store with their buddy Ever, but he's never around when they hang out and he never speaks. Also when they had a business meeting in the park he wasn't even there! It's book three and Connor still mentioned that he co-owns a store with him, but where is he? We don't even know what he looks like. Is he an older friend of the group and just someone they work with? Is he a recluse that needs a spunky woman to bring him out of his shell? Does have a secret life, if that's the case he needs a story. I just wish the author would have paid more attention to that and taken him out or wrote more about him. I gave this book three stars because of Connor and Jessa's story, but the fact that Ever is missing still really drew me away from the story itself. I found myself thinking about him a lot and wondering what happened to him?

The Stud Next Door is the 3rd book in @kendallryan1’s Frisky Business series. It can be read as a standalone or as part of the series. The other starring characters are mentioned but not in too much detail so you’ll be able to enjoy their relationship development if you’ve picked this one up first. ⁣⁣This book is Connor’s story. He’s a ladies man turned single dad and is taking it all mostly in his stride apart from juggling his part in his adult toy business and childcare for his young daughter. Cue the beautiful new neighbour Jessa, a baby whisperer on first meeting and a girl in need of an inbetween jobs job.⁣⁣This is everything I’ve come to expect from the Frisky Business series and more. It’s steamy with tension building between the characters with their taboo relationship. Throughout, adding to the build up, is knowing that at some point Jessa will leave to take up her new job in Central America. ⁣⁣This, like the others in the series, was a quick read with great leading characters and a cast of secondary characters who are loveable whether you’ve read there books or not. Definitely would recommend starting at the beginning with this series.

The Stud Next Door was a genuinely engaging, drama free, easy, and fast-paced romance. That was full of wonderful characters and sweet moments. And I was thoroughly entertained throughout.And the great thing about this story is it can easily be read as a stand alone, but the characters are so fun that you'll want to read all of them.Would recommend.

Well, any devoted single dad story is going to pull at the heart strings. Then add 'a baby whisper' nanny and this book by Kendall Ryan has to be thrilling and successful.But, what will happen when the nanny is due to leave to take up a six months mission trip to Central America? Well just read yourself and find.

A lovely romance proving love can be found even when your not looking thoroughly enjoyed it can't wait for the next one
