Super easy to install. Much sturdier than original that was on glass shower door. Only hiccup was set screw & that is user error.

Changing out all old nickel/chrome bath fixtures and lighting. Got a quote from a glass company for $1,500 to change out shower door handles and hinges/clips for 3 showers. They would have to remove all glass just to change hinges, then reinstall and who knows what would go wrong, etc. So…um…NO. So, went searching for DIY solutions, and was so excited to find these! These glass company people make it sound like they’re the only ones who can order and install this stuff. Wrong! These handles were SO easy to install- did it myself. As for the shower hinges and clips- we’ve decided to paint them with *metal primer and metal paint and the results are fabulous!

The item is nicely packaged. The finish was nice.We purchased the brushed nickel version since our other fixtures have recently been changed from chrome to nickle. The main reason we purchased this is since we had a loose handle.Just note if your current handle is loose, you may not need to purchase a new handle. If you remove the two set screws with hex driver you can remove one side of the handle. This will expose two hidden phillips head screws. Just tightening those would have fixed my loose handle issue. Only tightening the hex screws on the outside will not fix the looseness.I have no long term data on this handle, we just installed this today.
