Awesome Capture card for cheap(with some caveats)
This is plug and play to record/stream content for OBS. Select USB Video input and everything just works. The only thing to pay attention to is to make sure you get the 60 fps version. It might be $2 more but it’s worth it for smooth video. Also, the included usb extension is garbage. Throw it straight in the trash.

Works Great and Easy to Install
The first one I received look like the packaging had already been open and possibly a return. I couldn't get it to work so I returned it and they sent me a new one. Once I received the new one I was able to install it with ease. I bought it so that I'm able to watch my fire stick on my laptop.

Good Product, misleading descriptions
A lot about this device seem stretched. From my basic testing/ use along with reading the very minimal instruction sheet. This device can receive up to a 4k signal. It will only output 1080p 30fps. In obs you have the options of setting to up to 60 fps but that is about all with how that works. it is UP TO 60 with the device limiting at 30fps. Got this for a second cam to my Camlink since I didn't want to shell out more money for a second camera. Overall it looks decent and canwork. BIG NOTE this device uses USB 1/1.5 (according to manual). IT WILL NOT WORK IN 3.0 USB SLOTS. I had it plugged into a 3.0 slot and it flat out would not send a signal.Pros:Works well1080p 30fps outputdead simple setupMetal/Metal-Like bodyCons:Doesn't output 60fpsUSB 1/1.5 with no 3.0 compatibility

This device indeed captures sharp video with great colors
This review is for both brown and black versionsVery good value. That is why 5 starsIncuded extention cable is usb 2.0 only - this limits the bandwidth. Both devices are usb 2.0. Brown uses blue plastic in its connector, but only 4 pins, so this is 2.0 speed.Colors are Great, no distortion at all. Image is sharp. Not 60p. Looks like 1080p25 is the upper limit of the bandwidth.I had some interference issues with wi-fi (known issue for usb 3.0 devices, strange to see this on 2.0 device). This can be resolved with extension cable.I didnt find any difference between black and brown versions. Same capture quality, same issues.

Just as good as higher end capture cards.
Title is self explanatory. Solid 10/10. Especially for the price.-Adam James Tattoos

Great concept. Terrible audio issues.
So after using this for a while. Have to say the inconsistency with these things are absolutely infuriating. Half the time the audio refuses to work no matter how much effort and troubleshooting I try to do. At $20 its hard to be TOO mad. But the product just doesn't work as it should when it comes to audio. If you only need video, perfect buy. However trying to stream/record gameplay with no audio is not an option. Sucks.(OLD REVIEW) I purchased two of these bad boys. One to convert my camera into a webcam, and one for my nintendo switch so that I can stream.Unfortunately one of them seems to have arrived faulty as the audio does not work, however since I only need my switch audio, not from my camera, I simply swapped them out so it isn't a problem now. Great alternative to the crazy expensive capture cards as well as incredible for converting a dslr into a webcam and im sure plenty of other awesome uses!

Worked out of the box with Canon Vixia HF20 on Windows 10
I wanted a better webcam for my web meetings. I have a Canon Vixia HF20 that I don't use as much any more for videos, so I web-searched for clues about how to use it. Most of the setup involved scrolling through menus and checking settings, but the key turned out to be setting the camera /before/ connecting the Video Capture Card. I soon found myself streaming 1080P at 24 fps (my choice...after all, it is just a web meeting. If I find there is a need to boost that, the camera can go to 60 fps.) I plugged https://www.amazon.com/dp/B096V9RQ48?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_detailsinto the camera, the adapter into that. I used the short cable that came with the adapter to connect to my laptop. Zoom and a few other apps had no difficulty with the setup, once I had given permission for mic and camera to be used. Those apps did, however, need some settings tweaked.
