I won’t pretend to know what they’re made of (and I really doubt I’ll bother finding out). The marble pattern is printed on a plastic-y, synthetic wood material that is very lightweight and maybe a bit, oh, I don’t know, (my grandma said it once: ) chintzy (that’s sounds about right)?Right. Whatever.I guess what I’m trying to say is: that while I probably wouldn’t go to bed with these guys (being lightweight, fragile, chintzy, whatever) I’m not opposed to being seen around town with them either.They’re pretty. They look just like their picture. The blue is blue and the marbled-look is absolutely framed there by the gold. They got Bohemian-class. They got style. And while they probably can’t take a beating they can stay.We’re just gonna have to treat them nicely.Brownie Points for beautiful packaging. Thanks.

I searched for turquoise earrings because it's a beautiful color for summer and came across these. I have long dark hair so I purposely look for earrings that will stand out and these are just beautiful. They're light and comfortable to wear, the size is perfect and I'm so happy with how they look. This is my second pair by this company and look forward to purchasing more.

Stunningly beautiful earrings. They are everything I hoped they would be...except...I sooo wish that they were made in an oversized version. In my opinion, a sizeable portion of the client base interested in this earring with such beautiful colors & detail would want a larger surface area, inorder for the beautiful artistry to be seen. Or, maybe that's just my preference. lol. (For the record, the dimensions listed are exactly what you receive. Base your purchase upon that, and not upon how large the earrings appear on other clients in the lovely photos. I made that mistake.)In any case, these earrings are gorgeous & are a great find. Something unique. As other reviewers have mentioned, the backing appears to be a metal-coated, lightweight plastic. Nevertheless, this doesn't seem to detract from the quality. It just creates the benefit of enhanced wearability.The design appears to be a sealed (lightly glossy) lacquer painted on to a lightweight wood.Again, beautiful earrings. Just wish they were available in a supersized version.(Unsure whether I will keep these or select another pair. I purchased these to pair with a very bold, crimson, Johanna Ortiz top, with huge (lol) puffy, trendy sleeves. With my petite frame and such a statement-making blouse, I need(ed) a BOLD (not moderate) earring to hold its own against the blouse, to bring the attention back to my face. The color is PERFECT, yet the size may not be.)My request to the Bonaluna sellers: [_] Pleeease offer the option of custom (?) orders in the future orrr perhaps create an "oversized" version of this earring ( i.e. 2-3x current dimensions).

I was a little nervous ordering jewelery off of amazon to be honest. Its just so easy to make something cheap look beautiful in a photo online, but these earrings are just as beautiful in person as they look above! My wife turned 29 this year and with each year we are together, there are less "big ticket" items to get for each other. Since half of the fun of getting gifts is opening them, this year I decided to spend my budget on a larger quantity of less expensive items, without sacrificing on quality. These earrings hit that mark perfectly.They arrived in a white box well protected and presented without being wasteful. The colors are as diverse and rich as they appear in the photo and the metal components are well made without machining marks or imperfections. The earrings have a nice balance to them, not so light that they feel like pot-metal, but not so heavy that it hurts the ear.This is usually when I list the negatives, but honestly I cant find any. For the price, these are a home run. I will be buying more items from this seller for future occasions, or just for fun since my wife is the best. I couldnt recommend these any more, purchase with confidence.

I like different,unusual, and unique earrings and these are definitely that. I love how they are made of wood and they seem to be painted. Very elegant and beautiful earrings!

Have bought other earrings from this maker and my wife was very pleased but this ones were a major disappointment. They looked nothing like the picture. They looked like cheap plastic jewelry for kids. Luckily my other mothersday gifts made up for this one.

These are lovely casual earrings. They are well-made for the price, very lightweight and look just like the picture on the site. I am very pleased with them, will probably buy more from this maker.

These earrings look like real stone but are so lightweight that you can easily wear them all day without noticing (I do not wear earrings daily). They are incredibly beautiful and make a plain or all-black outfit pop.

Love these earrings not been able to wear them out yet due to covid but they are quite lightweight so looking forward to dressing up and having fun

Nice if not overpriced

The pentagon-shaped are perfect and not too long. The earrings are textured which I liked as it made them more unique to my other earrings.
