Great look, love the lights, good quality. Need to contact seller to get replacement canopy, for years we stored it in the off months, but one year it was left out exposed and the prolonged exposure ruined the canopy.

This is one of the best purchases I've made through Amazon, and I've bought a lot of stuff from them over these past many years. Here are the facts on this umbrella. It was inexpensive compared to its quality. It's outside in the SoCal sunshine everyday. I use the solar lights every night we're outdoors without fail - and we spend a lot of time outdoors. That's the short of it. Okay, it's an umbrella. What else can I say? Just this; the wind blew pretty hard one afternoon, and the umbrella left its stand, fully open, and flew to the far side of the pool, landing on its canopy, where it sunk to the bottom of the pool. I came home to see the umbrella's pole sticking straight up out of the water. Not good, right? Long story short: no damage. Period. No bent or broken ribs, the crank works, the solar panel works and believe it or not the lights still work. This thing was submerged completely. When I retrieved it, water was dripping from every seam, every light bulb, the On/Off switch. If there was a place for water to get in, water got in. I didn't expect it to come through an aerial somersault into a pool unscathed, but it did. For $77? Are you kidding me? This thing is da bomb.

This umbrella was easy to assemble, and it's a good fit in the stand. The LED lights are much brighter than I expected, and it's great to use them, even for light reading. (They also just look great.) I lashed the pole to a railing on my balcony for added stability, and that has worked out well. But there's no stability to the tilt mechanism. Even when it's fully straightened, the pole from that point on up (including the umbrella itself) wiggles significantly. In anything stronger than a light breeze, I have no confidence that it will hold. For that reason, I never actually use the tilt. Also, I don't leave the umbrella open while I'm gone or on a windy day. I have the impression the tilt mechanism is an ongoing problem for the umbrella, because a little flier in the box said to notify the company if there's a problem with it. But it hasn't failed, and it's been a great addition to the balcony, which is why I gave it a 4. One other note: Like another reviewer, I noticed several small holes in one section of the umbrella. They're too small to be worth sending it back. They don't let much light through; if anything, I'll just look at them as added value for venting! I'll update the review after seeing how durable and fade-resistant this turns out to be.

I am very happy with this umbrella. It looks nice and the light the LED lights provide is enough to read by at night. The umbrella goes up and down easily as well. The only thing I would have liked to have is a built in strap to secure the umbrella when it is down.Update When I first purchased this umbrella I was so happy with it. Unfortunately I am not happy with it anymore. I have purchased two of these umbrellas and they have both broken and could not be used. This one has broken where the button is to make the pole bend the umbrella at the top. The button keeps popping out and it is impossible to keep it pressed in. Even when it does go back in, the umbrella can not crank up and down. The lights quit working as well. I would not recommend anyone to buy this. It great at first and then it isn't.

Bought one of these from a large expensive retailer but it fell over in the wind and broke. I was not able to find the same item again until I saw this one. I was skeptical of course when I saw the price and thought it was going to be cheap and made of poor quality! Boy was I wrong...it was amazing and has been working every night since for the past few weeks. It illuminates the patio just enough and adds a nice effect to the rest of the lighting I have set up in my yard!

Omg this umbrella is phenomenal! All the lights worked immidiately. It's going to contrast beautifully once the lawn greens up. Quality is better than anything canadian tire or homesense has.

The LEDS stopped working.The umbrella itself seems like decent quality, but I'm rating it a 1/5 because, from the other reviews, the LEDs are junk. That's why I bought this umbrella instead of a cheaper, ordinary umbrella; For the LEDs.UPDATE: We had a windy day and it snapped like a toothpick. Right at the joint (although it was in the upright position). I've had a few patio umbrellas over the years (many that were cheaper than this one) and I never had one just snap in the wind. Every other umbrella had the canvass rot over time and rip before I had to replace them. This umbrella didn't last 2 months!

Great looking pink parasol with solar powered led lights, works very well and looks perfect in our yard.
