I stand corrected. I gave this item a poor review previously. I later discovered that if I replace the battery (CR2032) with a fresh one, the smartwatch movement works. There are actually 2 batteries in the movement. Under the smartwatch battery, there is a smaller battery for the actual analog watch. It was also dead when the watch came. I found the companion app in the Google Play Store (DayDay Band). It downloads in English. The watch is charming as it is not as advanced as today's smartwatches. It is one of the first.

Bought this for my mom and sister and they love these watches. Haven't heard anything bad about them, They love the retro look but the smart watch capabilities.

I returned this item. Did not pair with iPhone instructions were vague.
