Q: how are these different tonally from Silk & Steel of the same gauge? Thanks.

In my opinion, theGHS silk and bronze sound like regular bronze strings but have a softer feel like silk and steel. To my ear silk and steel are great for finger style guitar but when played harder with a pick, they lack definition and soft a bit mushy. The silk and bronze work better for me both fingerpicking and flat picking.
