When I ordered my set of Klein glow pliers, I was confident about their long-term reliability. My main concern was the stickiness of the pivot action. If it's sticky that's going to be a problem, as was the case with my cheaper pliers since they're hard to open. I'm glad that my D203-8-GLW has smooth pivot. By gravity pull it opens to about 90% (third photo) and just needed a gentle push to fully open. That's all I needed to know and I'm satisfied.

The majority of Klein hand tools are top shelf, A-1, primo, etc., and so on. That being said, every once in a while I buy a pair of pliers that, while looking normal, are extremely tough to open. Tougher than looking at a fat woman's muffin top as it cascades violently over the cliff's edge that is her bright pink yoga pants. I mean TOUGH. If I can't open a pair of Klein needlenose, side cutters, or diagonal cutters with one hand...they get returned for another of the same. Period.
