Works like a charm
I installed this on my old car that has 6 volt system, it works perfectly controlling a fuel solenoid because my fuel system is gravity fed and would over pressurize the carburetor and run on the floor, works like a charm and super easy to install, definitely recommend...

Works well if you can get through the instructions.
Compact, well constructed remote relay. Perfect for my application.Instructions for pairing the remote not clear. At least for me.

Works okay, but has issues
It works like it should though I was hoping it would work at 5v, but it really needs at least 6v. One thing I really did not like though was the quality of the circuit board. The relay is too big for the board and the terminal block is angled up off the board because of this. Also, the receiver board is jammed up against a transistor. All in all, they could have made the board little bit bigger so the parts fit properly; hence my 4 stars instead of 5.The instruction sheet is definitely a Chinese translation though as they use words that make no sense. But I have used relay boards before so it was not a big deal.

WELL, had to solder the antenna on to the receiver board . .
The unit works, sometimes intermittantly, but mostly, durability remains to be seen, but they didn't fall apart in my hands, (except for the unsoldered receiver antenna wire) likewise, not clear on how well they will hold up in the junction box of a fan in the attic, I will report back that as well in a few months . . it is June as I type . .CONS: as long as I: soldered the antenna wire that was stuck into the board, but not soldered, 2: changed out the batteries that came with, to some Eveready brand, 3: had to figure out how to pry open the switch housing, which is a REAL challenge, 4: figure out how to open the receiver housing, which had no instructions, 5: Place the batteries (+ was marked on the board, but - was NOT, they called it ground), and 6: I figured out that to read what instructions there WERE, I had to photograph them with my phone, then blow up the Jpeg file on my laptop to read em . . . .PROS: 1 transmitter was already paired to the switch in latching mode, since I am only using one transmitter, but they gave me 2, in case I wanted to set up a switch in more than one location, directions to switch mode were laborious. 2 they gave me snap in wire connectors, making wiring very easy, intuitive. 3 the receiver module fits in side a single gang handy box or fan junction box nicely, but then you gotta get that antenna unraveled from inside the receiver and roll it out, outside the box (if the box is metal) to use the switches from more than 30-40 feet in a house with a bunch of walls . . outside I easily got 100 feet . . 4 switch plates look nice, even though a bear to open when installing the battery, better screw them into the wall with solid screws into a stud, or such . .

Turn off /on any electric device
I don`t like the confusing generic instructions that come with this item. I can tell that just use the right voltage on the first two slots - and+ at your right (6 V or 12v whatever is your remote voltage relay. we have to realize that this relay is what really turn on or off with this 6v or 12v fed on the first two right slots and that is going to control the negative wire in any device of a lamp or motor; NOW the negative cable from the electric source SHOULD BE INTRODUCE in the# 3 slots to the left of the 6v or 12v cable already hook to the first 2 slots of the receiver. THE NEGATIVE CABLE OF THE LAMP OR MOTOR GOES IN THE #4 slot, the control and receiver are already paired . just turn on /off and enjoy.

Input voltage levels matter more than the instructions/description indicate
I fried one out with a 9v battery. Maybe I missed something. Bought another because it works really well.

Works well
I have used this remote control system to operate my garage door opener. I had lost it's original remote. This is a good replacement. It has lots of range.

Neat Little Receiver
I purchased this to attempt to use my Homelink buttons with, but the receiving range of this is a little too low for my brick faced house, but neat other then that, I will have to find another smart home project to use this with.
