Q: Will this work on sb model #4601dd?

Well, with SB ranges they use the same model number to cover the gas and electric versions, and the millivolt as well. IF your's has the wiring to the thermostat connected to the gas valve "TT" terminals, then this is the right 'stat'. IF it connects to anything 110 volt or the stat is connected directly to a gas pipe, then this is NOT the right stat. A little investigation is needed.

This thermostat is listed as a MILLIvolt. That is not the same as "any old voltage will do". 24 volts and higher need a thermostat that is listed as electric and not millivolt.
