We have an 11' kitchen island and we wanted a kick rail for it. We didn't want to break the bank but did want something good looking. I bought the 10' size which is plenty long enough. It went up with only a couple of hiccups---we couldn't get all of the screws in the flanges and I had to put a dab of black paint in a few enpty holes that were impossible to reach to either drill a pilot hole or get the screw itself in. We were able to get at least 2 screws in each flange and we were mounting it onto hardwood so it's still solidly affixed even with fewer screws than otherwise necessary. We have a lot of black in the room including the stool seats so this black rail is perfect for our style and our pocketbook.

This railing is perfect for our needs. We used it for our basement staircase, however this railing is nice enough to use anywhere in your home. It is super sturdy, and looks great! It has the industrial look we wanted, and was very easy to install. We were going to make a railing ourselves, but this was so much easier. It has a quality finish that I feel will stand up to everyday wear and tear. I am very glad we made this purchase.

Works great as a foot rail also!

This railing worked well for us. We added it as an addition to the other side of our steep basement staircase, which already had a railing, so we could have a railing on both sides. We purchased the 6.7 ft one.My husband bought a long wooden board to attach to the sheet rock wall so that the railing would be nice and sturdy once screwed into it.Did the trick and a great affordable alternative for our situation. Highly recommend.

We bought this for our new home and it is perfect. We bought 2 different sizes to span the entirety of our staircase. Our handyman installed the rails so I can't speak to that. But, it does what we need it to do.

Love the handrail, but are you kidding me?! Hex screws???? What a waste of an Alan wrench included! I by screw number 3 I had decided I was done with the ones provided and got better ones! Took 45 mins to put in 3 screws with the Alan wrench provided bc none of my bits fit it and another 45 mins to finish installation, including 2 other shorter rails!

Not as heavy as I expected, but exactly like the picture. Had to get concrete screws as this was for an exterior (covered) stairwell, but everything else was included. Best value for the price.
