Pwr+® 6.5 Ft AC Adapter 2.1A Rapid Charger
I bought a Google Nexus 7 Second Generation tablet and soon after, my daughter broke the charger (kids!). As a result, I needed a charger for my Nexus. After browsing Amazon, I bought the Pwr+ 6.5ft AC Adapter 2.1 Rapid Charger. Although it is not the official Nexus charger, it works better than the original. It charges my tablet faster than the original and has a 6.5 ft cable. Finally, a charger with a long cable! This is very convenient if you need to use your tablet while you are charging it.I have had absolutely not problems with the Pwr+ 6.5ft AC Adapter 2.1 Rapid Charger. With a cheaper price point and better features (faster charging & longer cable) I would highly recommend this product. And as a bonus, it has proven to be viable option to charge my Kindle Fire HD as well.Based on my experiences, I would recommend to all that if you are in need of a charger for a tablet that takes a micro-USB please feel free to buy the Pwr+ 6.5ft AC Adapter 2.1 with peace of mind.

Good charger, great customer service
I have a Samsung Galaxy J7. I had trouble finding a charger that fit snugly. I was very happy when I bought this charger, just after I bought a cable that did not fit well. I like that it charges quickly and has a 6 foot cord.I bought it in June 2019. For some reason, from normal use, it stopped working in late December 2018. It comes with a 24 month replacement warranty. I contacted the manufacturer and they asked for a photo to show that the universal plug had bent. I had a timely and friendly response and provided the photo. And they sent a replacement with no charge for shipping. The new one works great! I had been using my short Kindle charger in the meantime, and I can see that PWR charger is much faster.

Great/Fast Charger as good or better than OEM
I purchased an ASUS Nexus 7 32 gig tablet last year for Christmas and I have been amazed at how much utility this item has in my life. I use it for email, web browsing, sirius radio, reading, etc. However, this device charges really slow on most generic USB chargers. You think you can use any USB charger you have laying around, but you can hook it up and find that if you are using the tablet--especially watching video or other intensive work--it will not charge up or it may still keep declining in power. This is especially annoying if you are right at the brink of the battery going dead because a slow charger will keep it right at the point that the Nexus will interrupt you to let you know you need to "connect your charger."So, the only charger I had that was giving me a fast charge was the actual ASUS unit that came with the Nexus. This charger is kind of expensive, and it only comes with a short cord. The standard cord is really only suitable for letting it charge, too short to read with it, and if you put an extension cord on the charger then the weight of power brick on the end of it is always a burden. To get around this issue, I tried to replace the included USB cable with a longer version, but that brings up another issue with the OEM ASUS Nexus 7 charger. Many USB cables simply do NOT fit the Nexus with the case/protector I have installed. So, I have a bunch of cables laying around, but many of them do not fit, or, if they do fit, they are not in the USB socket on the tablet securely.Once you read or use the tablet the cord will just fall out and stop charging.I hate to keep jamming the cord into the socket because I am worried about damaging the ASUS socket. So, two main issues with the ASUS charger--cost and the fact that the cord is just too short for every day use. But, you still want an extra charger because it is a hassle if you gotta take it to work, or other locations, and if you forget it some place you have to spend $20 or more to replace it.I was searching for a solution to this problem and found it with the Pwr+ rapid charger with extra long cable. The Pwr+ has pretty much solved ALL of my issues with the ASUS Nexus 7 OEM charger. The Pwr+ charges the Nexus 7 REALLY fast--as fast as the more expensive ASUS OEM version. The Pwr+ can charge my Nexus 7 even if I am using it to watch video.AND, the Pwr+ includes an extra long cable with a slim and secure plug that fits into the Nexus 7--and, more importantly--stays there no matter what I am doing. From the design of the plug I am sure it will fit into just about any Nexus7 case, I use a beefy Poetic model and I have no problem fitting it in or with it staying in there. So far, I find that the cord is the perfect length for everyday use. I have an outlet by my bed and it plugs right in with plenty of length for me to read or whatever. I also use it when I am sitting on the living room couch and it is the perfect length for that as well.If there is a downside to this product, I guess the only one I can find is that the USB cable on the Pwr+ is NOT removable. So, you cannot use a short or longer cable, or attach an extension USB cable like you can with the ASUS OEM Nexus 7 charger. You also cannot remove the cord to attach it to your computer or laptop, or other electronics with USB ports. But, for my needs I have not found this to be a problem. Just saying that the cable is nice enough that I would like to be able to use it by itself with my Nexus 7.To sum it up, this is a great charger that meets all my needs and it is like 33% cheaper than the ASUS OEM. I am very glad I found it and will probably order another one so I don't have to move it around the house as I use the tablet in my every day routine.

Great charger... while it lasted
I purchased this to charge my Asus Nexus 7 when the micro-USB connector on my (cheaply made) stock Asus charger broke... My expectations weren't too high as it seems like no company can exactly match the specifications to efficiently charge this tablet, but other reviews spoke highly so I thought I'd try it out.It worked perfectly, and even seems to charge my Nexus faster than the Asus stock cable! I was overjoyed until about 2 months later, when I noticed it wasn't always charging when I plugged it in. A little wiggling did then trick at first, but that progressed to positioning the cord just right to make sure the contacts met, and as of yesterday it doesn't connect at all anymore.I travel a lot and am always on the go, so I'm sure I used it harder than the average individual, and the charger was inexpensive, so I felt like I got my money's worth; if I can't find a different one that does the job I'll probably order another, but I'd like to think I can expect more than a couple months use out of it...Revised 8/12/13:Added another star for customer service; after my initial post I was contacted almost immediately by the seller/manufacturer, PWR+, and a week later I got a brand new one in the mail. If it still works in a couple months I'll add that fifth star...

A sturdy rapid charger that performs well.
I've been using this rapid charger for 30 days now, so I've had enough time to evaluate its performance. It's sturdily built and does indeed charge rapidly. I use it for my Samsung Galaxy S3 and my Asus tablet every day. The cord is incredibly long so I'm able to use my devices while charging. The micro USB connector is solid and snaps nicely into both devices; nothing loose about it. I have only two very minor quibbles, and neither is important enough to take off a star. One, the cord is almost too long. At 6.5', it's just a bit unwieldy at times. Two, I wish the cable could be disconnected from the wall charger, instead of being all one piece. But maybe that's not even possible for the rapid charging ability, I just don't know. Anyway, those are very minor complaints and I highly recommend this charger.
