Great switch for home and small business
This is not a professional switch, there is no config, no vlan, but this is exactly what is nice about it. It is small, durable and works perfectly. Speed is great, the switch easily handle 2-3 connections without any slowdowns. My setup is not the latest and greatest and my HardDrive IO (servers, laptops, revo, etc...) top at about 60MB/s. Considering that my weak link are my Hard drives, the switch has been able to sustain 3 connections using 52MB/s each without problem. This TEG-S80G is kind of new, but I own a TEG-S50G since March 2010 that has been working perfectly since then.Pros:- Metal- Can also be fixed to wall very easily.- small- fast- stableCons:- none

Great performance great value
After owning this switch for 6 months, I remain delighted. It works straight out of the box, no set-up required. Just plug it in, connect the required devices and it works like a charm. I might add that the Amazon seller, WinRar, is just the best. Great service, great prices and incredibly speedy delivery.I looked at a number of switches from various suppliers. Some were double the price of this product, but I would warrant, none could do a better job. My concern, before purchase, was because this was less expensive than other products, it would be less effective. That is not the case. It just sits there quietly doing a great job.

Lasted a few years
Bought this in 2014. Only unpacked it in 2017. Broke in 2019. That's not a very long service life. I have other switches that have lasted much longer.it worked correctly for the time it worked though. I just expect a network swtich to last more than 2 years.

Stromsparer!
