I have two of these nightlights and intend to purchase more. One is in my upstairs bathroom that has no window and is like a cave. I hate turning on a bright light in the night and I hate giving up an outlet for a traditional nightlight (old house so outlets are a precious commodity). This light is just the perfect thing. I also have one sitting in my upstairs hall above a doorway. I don't trip over the dog in the middle of the night and it is just the right height to motion detect me but not the dogs (once again, an area with no power outlet and nice not to need a cord anyway). The sensor is wide enough to detect me exiting both my room and the bathroom. The light charges quickly and I really like that you can pick it up from its holder if you need a portable light. I intend to put one in a dark storage room in my basement where I have a hard time finding the pull chain for the overhead light. I also plan to buy one to keep in my travel bag as I think this would be great to help navigate dark unfamiliar hotel rooms. I would also consider giving it as a gift to someone who travels regularly or who you know has problems with a dark corner of the house (or, like me, with an old house that does not have as many outlets as newer construction). This is a very useful item and the charge really lasts.

I live in an older house with no electric outlets in the hallways or stairways. These are amazing for my stairways that are so dark because … wait for it… no light fixtures either — crazy! I love the brightness, the long-lasting battery, the cradle where the light sits in and the motion sensor. These have given a whole new experience for me and my housemates. If you need a nightlight…. This one has brightened my day…. And my nights. ;) ha

I needed a light for the closet where the litterboxes are. However, I ran into issues - the overhead light is too bright to leave on, batteries die too quickly, and there's no power outlet. I knew motion sensor would work but again I thought I'd run into issues - too bright while I'm trying to sleep or wouldn't detect my black cats.No issues here! It's just bright enough for them to see their boxes and I hardly notice when it comes on. The light is very soft and it doesn't stay on long without movement. I rarely go into my closet at night but if I do it's enough light for me to navigate.I've had this nearly 2 months and have yet to charge it. Highly recommend!

I had posted a question, asking if the motion detection worked while the light was plugged in while charging, or just plugged in at any time, via USB. It does NOT work when plugged in. Once the light is charged, you have to unplug the USB charging cable to enable the auto (MD) feature.With motion detection activated, the light will go on for about 20 seconds, then goes off, but will stay on if it detects any motion. So if you find yourself standing or sitting motionless for any longer than 20 seconds, expect to be in the dark, unless you wave your arms around.

Bought this to help my dog navigate her way off our bed in the middle of the night. It works great. It has at least a 15’ range, stays on for an appropriate amount of time for her to get from the bed to the bench and to the floor. I have found the lowest setting is a little brighter than I would prefer (can’t risk it waking me up at 3 am because she triggered it), so I’ve diffused it by slipping a footie sock over it. I’ve had it at least a month and haven’t had to charge it, either- but I do shut it off each morning.

This light is awesome! We put it in the bathroom. It detects motion from about 11 feet. I charged it 1 time when I 1st got it which was about a month ago. I highly recommend this! Price is great! It stays on for about 25 seconds but if you move at all it comes back on.

Bought these for my 90 year old mother in law - she lives alone and frequent power outages had her lighting candles. We replaced her candles with these rechargeable, motion activated lights. Perfect safe solution for her, now we all rest easy that she is safe at night and if the power goes out.
