Velamints Classic Sugar Free Mints Stick Tin, Peppermint, 20 Count (Pack of 12)

I received 10 packs and each had 20 mints. I am an ex smoker and have been on nicotine lozenges for many years now. I have been searching for a candy that would be similar in size to the lozenge and last for a considerable time. I used to buy these years ago and had not forgotten about these and began looking online for these candies. I am so glad I found them. I can't say for sure how well these will work as a nicotine lozenge substitute yet as I just got them today. But they are almost the perfect size. I did not use the small lozenges but the regular size ones as they last longer for me. These can last almost twenty minutes or more if I just hold them under my tongue which is longer than most candies I have tried. I have tmj so this size is comfortable for my mouth without causing pain or feeling like I need to bite it to make it smaller. The taste is wonderful I love chocolate it is addictive all by itself so I feel these will at least help me start to wean down on the amount of lozenges I use daily. I would recommend to anyone who loves chocolate or anyone trying to wean off nicotine lozenges as I am. I have tried using altoids and similar candies but too many of those can leave your mouth feeling raw. These should work perfectly and came within the same week I purchased. I will most likely order these again when I run out.

I remember these from when I was little--my grandpa used to get them since he was diabetic. I ordered them to see if they tasted the same, and they do!! Not super minty, but still a nice taste if you're looking for a sugar-free solution to your sweet tooth.

I was delighted to find these (the peppermint Velamints), as I hadn't seen them in many years and they remind me of my grandmother, who always had a roll of these in her purse that she would dole out to us grandkids.Unfortunately, they just don't taste quite like what I remember. I remember them having little flecks of color throughout the white mint and having a subtle creamy almost vanilla taste at the beginning that followed up with a soft mint taste. These taste very minty -- much stronger than the original, they have no color flecks, and they have a perfume taste after a while, like talcum powder or like they have been stored next to scented products for a long time. It's not good.Still, perhaps I'm mis-remembering the Velamints of my youth or these ones were a bit older or stored next to something that affected the flavor.Either way, I'm still glad to have found them.

Product had an expired expiration date (6/1/2017), while I did receive it on 6/13/2017 it is still edible, I'm assume. I still don't want products that have past the expiration date.

So glad these are back and delicious as ever. Two star rating is based solely on the fact that they are now manufactured in China and has me questioning the integrity of the manufacturing process and ingredients.

I love these Chocolate Sugar free Mints. Hard to find. Glad they are making them again. They sell them at Cracker Barrel now but it's a little cheaper here buying in bulk. 12 packs to a case. Sturdy tin holder. Really love the flavor and glad they are making these mints again. A real find!!

I have enjoyed the mints very much, and have given tubes to friends. They are much cheaper this way than buying them retail at a restaurant or grocery store, so I plan to buy more soon. Great buy.

I'm so happy I found these again, It has been along time since I had these. Not only yummy but good for dry mouth.
