These work well.

These mantels arrive in a protective tube. Use the tube to install the mantle. Each one comes preformed on a ceramic ring. Position the mantle to engage the ring on the gas device. Slide the tube down and you're done. No need to ever touch the mantle, which are delicate and handling can ruin them. IMPORTANT These are only for use in the dependent position. Mantle hangs below the ceramic ring. Once installed and ignited they burn to ash quickly and provide even light.

Just put them in so we will see how long they last

I have a service mow my lawn. It could be that they continue to bump my gaslight and the mantels break. They’re beautiful in there size and brilliant light, easy easy to install but longevity is equal to the soft mantels and the hard are more expensive.

What a brilliant idea and way to install mantles in my outdoor lamp. Over the years I’ve struggled replacing just the mantles and having to hand tie them to the rings. Then they started coming with the rings attached, but these take the prize. Fire and forget. Excellent product.

These are excellent. It would be exceptional if all products were this well-designed, engineered, and produced.
