Said it wouldn’t rust… It Rusted
As a pot, it’s decent. As a Dutch, like the other review stated, not so great. The worst part though… it rusted! I’ve had it for two weeks and it already has rust around the lid, and the “smooth surface” on the inside has already got rust veins growing. I’m not 100% convinced they actually shipped me an aluminum one, since it’s also really heavy.

Good as a pot not as a Dutch
Well it won’t cook biscuits. Or anything else that needs a flat bottom to sit on.Gsi how did you screw the pooch this bad!? It’s a round bowl on he bottom with a little flat spot in the middle to sit flat on your stove top.You could have had a contender!? The surface is to die for, smooth and pit free! But no legs!? I was willing to try the little trivet thing but if your fires on any sort of a slope FORGET IT! It slides right off dumping the food.I really tried to like his thing and it is lighter than my lodge, great right! But can’t cook anything flat, the round bowl bottom significantly reduces the real estate. The fact it slides off the stand with a sideways glance. Not to mention rotating it on said trivet to avoid hot spots is a nightmare as setting it down may trigger a collapse makes it a no go for he chuck box.Try to scrape at the bottom you will have to use a hard plastic and a pair of pliers. He plastic to conform to the curve and he pliers to hold on to the “pot” to try and prevent it from falling of heMay use it as a planter or give it to somebody I don’t like so It drives them crazyIt’s easy gsi, same metal, good finish, three legs and near vertical wall, flat bottom and near flat lid for makeshift pan fryYOU WILL SELL THOUSANDSalso the no legs on he 10 inch aluminum!? C’mon man!?One star for the finish, second for the weight reduction

Bought mine at REI, it's great!
While I didn't buy this from Amazon, this still applies. I really love this pot. If you complain about rust, you dont know how to take care of cast iron. If you complain about the shape, maybe look at the pictures before you buy it.Used this on a fire and on the stove. It's perfect. Keep in mind it's thinner than moat cast iron (good and bad) ao might not hold heat as long. The inside cleans so easy, and after washing make sure to season again with some light oil to prevent rust.10/10 would buy again.
