Hawk Performance HB559Y.695 LTS Brake Pad

I've ran these pads for 60k miles so far on the front of my Ram. Looks like I will be running them for another 60k+ front and rear. I know the fronts don't need replaced yet (I've recently checked them) but I am anyways, because the rears are due. The original pads wear out quick, so this is a great upgrade. If you tow a lot (probably 75% of my miles on my truck the last 2 years were towing my boat around the country), these pads are invaluable. They give more brake torque for stopping a load, and are more tolerant to higher heat from stopping heavy truck/trailer combinations repeatedly.

These pads are used on a 2014 RAM 1500 4x4 Express package with the 5.7l V8 Hemi.After some time to evaluate, these pads give my truck a little bit more stopping power than what the stock pads had..... Nothing MAJOR. There is definitely more brake dust on my rims, so I don't see these pads lasting very long.These really should come with brake hardware, which the lack of the hardware turned this brake job into a total hassle. I tried to clean up the stock hardware but that made the pads drag. Then I tried the Autozone brake hardware but I pulled that stuff off because of it's low quality and slight dragging. Finally I found decent brake hardware at O'Reilly which did the job.

Fit perfect and seams to have a little better brake power on easy braking. I've yet to need or use full brakes. But when I do need full brakes I expect these will be better than OEM.2014 Ram 1500

Same review as rear pads...changed both axles at the same time.I only have about 1k miles on these, but have been very pleased with their performance up to this point. I recently purchase front and rear sets of the LTS for my 2012 Ram 1500. After a month of use, and proper bedding procedure, these have to be the dirtiest brake pads I have ever purchased. Braking itself is fine and pleased, however when it comes down to dust and noise, forget it. Sometimes the pads emit a sound similar to grinding but very faint. These will be probably the last sets of Hawk Performance pads I purchase. Factory OEM Mopar pads that came on the truck had far less dust than the LTS.

For my Ram 1500 4x4 - great for towing!

Great pads... great stopping power... no squealing. Highly recommend as a replacement for OEM pads on the Aspen/Durango. The install went perfect, as there were no quirks to overcome.

I would recommend these pads for your truck especially if you haul some weight!Hawks have always been great for me.
