Imperial KK0047 Clear Flame 2 In 1 Glass and Masonry Cleaner, 16 Ounce

Cleans the glass door on my wood burning stove fairly easy. Works as expected. Recommended.

I have tried all kinds of products on my fireplace glass this product by far is the best spray it on and wipe it off clears off ALL the soot. I use to get it at my local hardware they no longer carry it. Also I do think I use to pay around $7.00 for it however it works so well I will pay the extra to get clean glass.

My husband and I just bought a lake home with a wood fireplace and we decided to burn wood this winter as we have a heat pump and instead of paying $400.00 or more a month we have cut that bill in half. One thing we did not know was when you burn wood the window gets hard to clean within one day.> We tried Rutlands Prducts Hearth and Grill conditioning but it was $8.99 for only 8 ounces. I will tell you it did clean it. The reviews stated better result if we tried soaking paper towels and letting it sit on the glass for awhile. Rutland was indeed better than just ashes and water but it still took elbow grease and about 30 to 45 minutes of hard rubbing on the glass to get everything off. I then back Amazon and started looking to see if I could find something else. This product had good reviews,. Clear Flame 2 In 1 Glass and Masonry Cleaner, 16 Ounce and it was $26.29 for 16 ounces. My husband tried it first and he told me this worked! He found spraying it on and letting it sit for 2 mnutes everything started to wipe off with just a paper towel. I tried using it for the first time this morning and the creosote and burned material from the wood on our fireplace glass just stated running down the glass! I had to wiped it all off but then I noticed a couple of spots that I needed to spray once more and then it was all clean. & minutes total instead of 45 minutes. No hard elbow grease. I just ordered 2 more bottles off this! I will caution you that it does not stick to the glass and I would suggest laying a towel and or papers on top of the towel becaue that gunky burnt material just makes super dark puddles on our fireplace concrete in front of our fireplace. This is the best fireplace insert glass cleaner I’ve ever used. We use our fireplace insert for our primary heat in the winter, therefore the glass gets pretty dirty. With this product, just spray and wipe with a paper towel. Easy peasy. The smut comes right off. I usually follow this with a quick Windex wipe to make sure I get any remaining residual. I highly recommend this product.

Why didn't I know about this stuff before? I've been trying several glass cleaners, then making a paste with the ashes from the stove, everything to try and get the glass clean.The instructions on the bottle make it seem all scary - use rubber gloves, don't overspray and clean it up immediately, let it sit for several minutes. Well, I sprayed it on the wood stove glass and was quick to wipe up the drips that ran off the bottom. All the black gunk came with it! I didn't even have to let it sit for several minutes. The glass hasn't been this clean ever - and so easy! Don't waste your time or money with anything else. This really works. And I'm not even getting paid to say it.

I buy this product every year to clean the glass on my pellet stove during the winter. Spray it onto a paper towel first and not directly onto the glass to avoid splatters as it’s very potent. Wipe the glass down afterwards with a damp paper towel and you’ve got a crystal clear window. Best cleaner I’ve found so far. Highly recommend

My wood stove glass doors soot up easily. I have tried two other products in addition to this one. The other two were highly rated, but just would not completely clean the glass. This product does. The creosote melts and rolls off. There is some rubbing needed for tough spots, but it does do the job!

The only thing I have found that easily removes fireplace glass creosote.

Nothing cleans the glass like this stuff does! I won’t ever use anything else.

I have to spray this on several times. Yes I leave it to soak but it’s hard to help with the cleaning. Do not recommend this
