They have a waist that is smaller than the hips. They aren't too tight round the posterior. They don't slip down and they wear well.I don't understand why this is so difficult to find in UK jeans but it is, even the really expensive ones. I usually buy some when I visit my daughter in Florida but obviously not to be this year.A word of warning to UK buyers - check your actual measurements before buying, US sizing is different. If there is a W after the size it means they are for the fuller figure. Usually if you're 18 in UK you'll be 16 in US.Still my favourite jeans!

I have bought these jeans for a number of years in the USA and to be able to get them here is wonderful. They are well made and a good fit without the low waist that so may jeans have. The delivery is as fast as one can expect from the usa and considering that the duty and postage is included in the price the jeans are extremly well priced

Beautiful jet black jeans but fitting a tad on the smallish side. Generally Gloria Vanderbilt jeans fit perfectly to size (other GVs in same order were perfect size), but you might want to go up a size in these.

These jeans arrived in a bag clearly labelled Short. The tag lists them as Short. Amazon describes them as Regular (you have to click "Show More"). Sadly, it didn't occur to me to double-check the length (29 inches) when I received my confirmation email. There was no mention of Short on the email, but it did state the length. Since I knew I had ordered Regular jeans, 29 inches didn't set off any alarm bells. If you Google these jeans, you'll see that 29 inches is Short, 31 inches is Regular. It took two weeks for them to be delivered, so I just got busy with a seam ripper and I'm lettin0g down the hems.03 May 2018: I see that Amazon has now revised description somewhat and added "60012813-169-18W Short, Manufacturer warranty will not apply. Please check Amazon’s return policy, which usually offers free returns within 30 days of receipt." This information is different from the way this item appeared when I ordered these jeans (see attached). Even the number is different. I ordered 60012811-KH1. The number did not appear on the confirmation email or on the "sorry for the delay" notice.

Love these jeans which I first found on a trip to Florida and for ages I couldn't source them in the UK. However, bear in mind they are in American sizes. The first pair I ordered (thinking they were UK sizes) was a huge 14 so I had to return. The size 10 is a perfect fit. I'm just pleased I don't have to pay the air fare to get them now.
