For the last 2 years, we have been engaged in the battle of the pencil sharpener. I have bought a total of 4 pencil sharpeners in the last 2 years and they all have failed. This year my son decided he would just use mechanical pencils because he was tired of his pencils getting eaten. This little sharpener is awesome I purchased this one and the electronic one please see that review. I got this one for my personal desk and the other one for our homeschool classroom. ...I was a little skeptical about the battery one because I was sure of the power level. I was sooo wrong this one is just as powerful. This one comes with 3 blades so you can swap them out and blade cleaning brush. They even included the batteries. I am very pleased with this purchase. !!

I rarely take the time to write reviews, even when I'm satisfied with the item I bought. But I'm so impressed with this little sharpener, I'm making the effort. I've never seen anything sharpen a pencil so well or so fast. I've hated every sharpener I ever bought (or used) but I fell in love with this one at the first pencil; it's a total game changer! Worth every penny. And it comes with batteries and extra blades. Clearly, a company that cares about its customers. Thank you.

This little pencil sharpener was a pleasant surprise! It came exactly as described in product details, batteries, extra blades and cleaning brush included. As soon as I tried it out, I was delighted with the sharp tip on the pencil resulting from the pencil sharpener. My teenage daughter is an artist, and as soon as she discovered the convenience of this battery operated sharpener, it was no surprise that it disappeared into her bedroom to keep her colored pencils and sketchbook company. I can think of many spaces where this sharpener could be handy... home office spaces, kids bedrooms, dorm rooms, even on long car rides with the kids! The size is nice and compact, so it doesn't take up too much space. I anticipate this little guy will get lots of use in our home! I received this product free in exchange for an honest review.

This little pencil sharpener turned out to be exactly what I wanted. I’m using it to sharpen drawing pencils because I am way too lazy and impatient to do it the right way, with a knife.I just wanted something basic, cordless, easy to operate and clean and with a small footprint so it wouldn’t hog my precious desk space. Check, check, check, check and check. It also comes with two extra blades, batteries and a small cleaning brush.My only issue was that the instructions printed on the box are very small and covered by a bar code label that I found impossible to remove without destroying the print. However, the device designers managed to make it idiot-proof and I figured it out anyway. So I’m not taking off any stars for that.You can see how compact it is in the picture, next to a AA battery.

I am most disappointed by the reviewers who gave this five stars. It’s cheap and chews up your pencil while you wrestle with the thing to hold the pencil still. Beware of the reviewers who gave this high ratings.I’m going back to the simple manual sharpener by Prism for my expensive colored pencils.
