My vet recommended Purina Pro Plan for my animals. My cats love this food! (The dog loves her version, too). Always empty bowls in this house.One of my friends asked me what I feed my cats since their fur is so soft and doesn't mat (I have a long haired cat with the most beautiful coat - never mats). Their long haired cat's fur mats and isn't soft.He switched his cat's food to Pro Plan and says that his long haired cat now has silky fur that no longer mats and his other cats are as soft as mine.Even the vet asked me what I was feeding my cats (especially the long haired one) because they are so healthy and their fur is so soft. I told him I was feeding them Pro Plan as he had recommended!The cats love it, the vet loves it and my friends love it! highly recommended.

I trust my vet and she chastised me for using "boutique" brand rice free, etc. cat food. Said Purina did all the testing on these Pro brands and they are the best. Gave me packs of the probiotics they have to make this other brand better, cats loved it, seemed to treat them well so I switched. It's expensive and good, they love it. Cheaper than vet bills, plus keeps my kitties happy, healthy stress reducers!

This has worked amazing for my 5 month kitten. OK, TMI here, he has never had a normal poop. I've tried other foods, even adding the powder probiotics to his wet food. This worked on the 1st day giving it to him. Plus, as you see in the picture, he has a long tail, it would get in the way & yes, you can figure out the rest. Life changer on not having to clean him each time he went. I have two other cats, they all LOVE it too. I didn't have to deal with gradually changing it from the old dry food. My three cats have a bowl of dry food out all the time, then I'll feed them wet food twice a day. I had to refill the dry just about everyday :-)

Cats are not dogs when it comes to food--my dogs will eat the same food month after month. My cats get bored easily and want variety. All three were fine with eating this particular food, but as the bag emptied, the finickiness started showing through. I'm moving on to another food (again) with this particular flavor as an option for variety. The kibbles are small, no issues with vomiting or smelly poop (only one cat is indoors). Luckily, my cats are not sensitive to foods (one of my dogs cannot eat chicken, beef, etc.) It's hard to find cat food that is a seafood flavor and doesn't have chicken in it--this one does so take note if that's an issue for you.

Great product: 1) my cats love it, 2) it satisfies them, so they don't gorge themselves and swell up, 3) I've noticed that hairballs are coming up - think it is improving their digestion. Only problem, for me, is the price - it is expensive for a Senior living on a fixed income, so when the older of my two kitties passes, I won't get another, so as to reduce costs.

Works well for my 3 (now 17, 15 and 12), doesn’t cause problems with their allergies or bladder issues. I switched from Taste of the Wild when they started losing condition on that- another good choice, just not quite working as well anymore.I haven’t tasted it myself since I am not a cat or a complete nutter, but the cats like it.So- decent cat food, fulfills requirements, decent ingredients, tasty to cats.

About 15 months ago I noticed that my Orange Tabby was losing weight and he was not eating his normal amount so I started him on different dry food. This went on for 5 months until I brought him to the vet and she recommended the Purina salmon flavor and put him on meds for hyperthyroidism.He was 9lb's then and now 8-months later he's a robust 12.7lb cat at 13yr's old.

My cat really likes this food. She was on purina one (lower brand for purina) and I wanted her on a higher quality food. Purina One pro plan seems to fit the bill for my cat! She comes running when it’s time for feeding!

The cat likes it which is important and the ingredients are excellently balanced for nutrition and good health. If there's a problem it's with the size of the bag - you need some storage space. Next time I buy it I'll pay more attention to quantity.

Product arrived in a good time. I can't buy this size locally so I really like the larger size. Costs less and I don't have to buy so many packages.
