Nice gift scripture plaque hangable on wall. Had a frame added for improved looks.

I gave this as a gift recently to a precious couple that had lost their adult son. The father mentioned the story behind the song, and what the composer had gone through himself. (If you don't know the story, research it...beautiful, so inspiring). It is well made, inspirational, and classic.

I love the writing style used for the song title. It stands out to easily be read. The sheet music underneath is very light, but visible. I have the plaque on my mantle where I often look at it and feel the peace of God as I think of the faith-building story behind the beautiful song.

Got this for a Christmas present! It is very nicely made. It looks just like the photo. The music sheet in the background looks just like the one in my church hymnal. Parts of the music is hard to read cause of how light it is. But the words “it is well with my soul” is very easy to wread. The wood does seem like cheaper wood.it is nice to receive a card with it saying handmade by Ruth mad in the USA. Overall I would love to buy one for myself!!!

I bought two with different words.They were not flimsy but seem cheap and a little tacky to me.I like that they were made in America.I should have paid better attention to the size. They are about the size of a piece of typing paper. If you want an idea of the "statement" you can expect, put a piece if typing paper where you want the picture to hang. Pretty small if hung alone.I don't know what the lettering is, but it sure does not look hand printed. Stenciled? Doesn't quite seem like that either. I don't know.If I had seen it in a store I would not have purchased it. It was not what I was hoping for and I was disappointed for my purpose. I suppose it might work for someone, but I would not buy it again.

I got this as a gift and love it! Especially the fact that it is wood.
