Good as a Lunch Box*
May not be as fashionable as some lunch boxes, but very functional.*Advertised as a cooler, but i use it as a lunch boxHas a removable plastic liner for easy cleaning (in case any interior leaking of beverages/food). Resembles those ice buckets you get at a hotel.Size/capacity: able to hold 9 standard 12oz soda cans: 6 standing upright and 3 on its side covering the 6.Able to hold approx. 6.5 (deep) x 8.25 x 5.25 inches. Best to check before purchase if you plan to use Tupperware you already own as it may not fitIf you plan to use for soda or beer; best to use the 6 as the 3 on top may shake a bit during transit, and there's not enough room for ice if you fully pack it.Has 3 small exterior pocket and 1 small interior.Interior pocket is good for utensils. Fits standard size fork and spoon well, but not chop sticksExterior pockets are for items you don't want to get wet or cold.Cannot fit a standard 17oz water bottle on the side pockets unless you force it in. You can strap it horizontally to the bungee cord thoughI personally use the outer pockets for napkins, light snacks, fold-able tablet stand and Bluetooth ear buds.Does not include a ice pack. Have to purchase separately. Does keeps food and drinks cold for hours if you were to put one inZippers are really sturdy, prevent leaksHas lid bungee cords for carrying additional random accessories. Sometimes i stick a light sweater or small towel through there.Has a shoulder strap. I personally cinch it all the way down and make it a grab handle since I don't like the drag when carryingOverall, very good cooler, lunchbox. Able to hold a lot in a compact form factor. May have to be creative with the small pockets. If you own tupperware best to check measurements before purchase

Appears perfect for our needs
This came yesterday, the day after it was ordered (WOW! Quick delivery! But then it only came from one state away!), but I had to send it back again last night. Why did I give it 4 stars then? Well, I liked the size, the durability of it. There are some reviews that complain about the stiffness of the zipper. I didn't notice any of that. Other reviews complain that the side pockets are too tight. Well, that I can see, but I didn't try to put anything in them yesterday. I also loved the color of it. Bright enough to be found, but not florescent or obnoxious for my husband to carry to work. It is perfect sized it appears (I haven't actually USED it to pack a lunch yet) to pack a single meal for a single person with maybe a snack added in too. I also love the fact that the inner portion can be removed. it is a hard plastic which will limit "stuffing" the bag full a bit and will make it less pliable for what gets put in, but it can be removed and washed and left to air dry on it's own. You see, this is a replacement for my husband's old (and NASTY) lunch box that I am sure has mold growing in between the layers from washing it out in the sink a million times after food was left in there and spoiled and spilled and blech! Why did I not give it 5 stars then? And why did I send it back last night? Well there was a rip in the one seam when it arrived last night. This was disappointing, but I expected to use it as a holiday gift for my husband so I have some time to get a new one -- and according to the text message I just received, it will be here tomorrow. I will attempt to remember to come back and update this review after the new one arrives and how well it works for him.UPDATE (11/8): Replacement arrived today, and it looks great! No rip in this one. I'm going to be hard pressed to not give this to my hubs early, just to get ride of the old stinky one. ;) I'm excited for him to be able to use it.UPDATE (12/28): Ooops! Forgot to come update, hubs LOVES it, although he keeps removing that inner container, and I keep putting it back. Perfect sized for a single meal and a few snacks for his 12 hour shifts. And you'll note that the 5th star has been given!

This little lunch bag is the best lunch bag that I have ever had
This little lunch bag is the best lunch bag that I have ever had. In fact I bought this green one and the one that is a size up as well (see blue one). The overall design is fantastic for those of us who use it daily. The strap can be adjusted for shoulder or hand use and the padding also can be moved for comfort. It is securely attached at the base. The mesh bags on the sides are handy little compartments for small items like teabags. The compartment in the front is great - I store lots of handy extras here especially some napkins and my cutlery and even, on occasion, a few condiments. As for the materials, for starters, the nylon material on the outside is seems to be heat-treated (this is my guess) i.e. once it was woven a heat treatment binds the crossed fibres together so that it wouldn't fray up as much. This sheen stays smooth. The stitching is strong throughout and there is also a thick plastic covered piping on the inner seam added for strength. The padding on the inside is also thick - and this is very important - so is the inner grey plastic material. You can wipe this soft casing out from the inside easily without fear of puncturing it or wearing it out. Now, the inside bucket (within the soft casing) is very strong and can be removed if you happen to want a bit more 'give' in your lunch pail on occasion. However, this is the main reason I bought this (not to mention the design of placing the handles on the side and not the top) so I tend to keep it in. This inside 'square bucket' fits perfectly and basically protects you from all matters of spilled lunches (including the nasty ones) from seeping through (little tip - I have a small thin plastic cuttingboard that I made slid in between the plastic bucket and the liner that I find handy). Even if your entire soup spilled, as long as this lunch bag is sitting upright, it will catch it all like the bucket that it is, which allows to to have a much easier clean up later. Once a week I take out the whole thing and give it a little wash, wipe and dry and it is as good as new. Highly recommended. :)

Great Cooler!
Needed a cooler for college. Super happy that I bought this on Amazon instead of paying more in store for a lower quality item!Size:Although advertised as a "9-can cooler", this is a great size for lunches and more or less exactly what I wanted. It can fit med-large Ziplock or Pyrex dishes full of food inside, which is great! With the hard plastic liner inside, I have been able to fit a sandwich, yogurt, 2 small icepacks, a snack, and a bottle of water before the cooler was full. It is on the larger side, but not at all heavy or overly awkward to carry around.Compartments/zippers:Unlike you might guess from photos, there is no upper compartment. There is netting in the lid to store some extra items with. The main body compartment is nice and deep. The front pocket is also handy: I have been using it to store Keurig cups. I love these zippers: they are great! They are sturdy and easy to grip, and do not snag or pull. I cannot foresee them breaking or getting stuck in the near future, which is terrific. I'm very pleased to say that this cooler should last me a long time.Appearance:Some users have posted photos of darker colored coolers. Perhaps the colors have undergone a remake. I purchased the blue cooler, and it is pretty close to what the product's pictures currently show vs. the appearance in user photos. However, the stock pictures make the colors look pretty bright. I like how my cooler turned out: it is not quite as bright and is pretty nice to look at.Portability:This is a larger cooler for lunches/everyday use, but that's what I wanted. It's not too awkward to carry around and isn't heavy. I like the length of the strap + the padded cushion. This easier for me to carry than a similar hardbody cooler I had been using! I am quite happy with it and will continue carrying it with me. The most uncomfortable part of my college setup is actually my backpack. Conclusion: Great cooler! Probably intended for outdoor/sports use, but great for larger meals too. Nice looking and portable.

Durable, great insulation for cold items, great value.
I've had this for almost 3 years now, and I use it 180 work days a year (bus driving) as well as countless personal beach excursions. I use it to hold three canned beverages, fruit and snacks. I load it with a large square blue ice block at 5:30 am, open it several times during the day, and when I get home at 5pm, it's still reasonably cold. I use a wedge of styrofoam to hold the cans still and against the ice block. A co-worker has the larger version (she packs lunch whereas I usually don't) and she loves hers too. It's been super durable....looks like new, except for the great plastic liner which is scuffed up inside, but perfecctly usable. The only bad thing about it is that shoulder pad that is on the strap. It doesn't help the strap from slipping on your shoulder, it moves around and is neither padded or durable enough. I ended up cutting it off, and the strap is more secure WITHOUT that pad. (I had tried using safety pins to secure the pad to the strap and adding lines of silicone seal to the pad to help grip my shoulder, but that didn't help the problem for long. Just get rid of the pad, once you decide you like the bag overall and won't return it. I do not use it for hot foods or drinks, so I can't evaluate that. I don't carry open liquids in it, but the hard liner would definitely hold them, as long as the bag doesn't tip over.
