The Zanzibar Affair
A tale "out of Africa", this novel piques ones interest at once with its attractive cover and first chapter full of mystery and questions. Read on and follow a fast-paced story of a life in Africa; good times and bad, tragic but triumphant, that gives a taste of that world the author knows and so obviously loves. Throughout the story, a taste of Africa is offered but there is always a sense of foreboding that keeps the reader searching for answers. The mystery deepens and only at the very end can there be a full understanding of the events. This is truly a made in Africa novel, one you won't put down until the final page.A gifted writer, let us hope Samantha Ford has a second book in the wings.
