SUNBA YOUTH Beach Tent, Pop Up Tent, Baby Beach Sun Shade, UV Protection Sun Shelter (BigBlue)

This beach tent worked well for our Miami vacation. It served it's purpose and since then the kids have used it also for backyard play I feel I got my moneys worth. I'm posting pics of different views of the tent and the tiny instructions. I would purchase this again, but here are the pros and cons that I've discovered.Pros:1. It does give great shade from the hot beach sun.It even rained for about 20 minutes but our towels, clothes, phone inside the tent was dry and safe.2. It is light weight and it did fit easily in my large suitcase.3. Very easy to put up. It kinda pops open and you just have to straighten it out and steak or tie it down.4. It allows for privacy in public places and allowed for us to do quick clothing changes beach side.5. The cost was reasonable ($29) especially since renting a beach umbrella would have been $15 and $20 for a chair.6. It can fit three people. But if you are larger adults then two can fit.7. It is tricky to fold AT FIRST. But once you get the hang of it, its simple. I found a 21 second video on youtube and it helped a lot.8. The screen back door helps allow insect free air flow.9. Inside the tent are two large sleeve pockets and the option to hang something light weight from the center.Cons:1. The metal steaks are too short and can get lost in the sand easily2. The back window has two zippers BUT the front only has ONE zipper which means you cant unzip it from the bottom everrrrr.3. Sand got stuck in the zipper grooves making it more difficult to open and close.4. The material is very thin and looks like it can tear along the seams. It did not blow away. But we had beach bags inside it along with the ground steaks in place outside the tent.5. The instructions to folding the tent back aren't helpful at all and the print is too small..6. This is not a camping tent so you'll be disappointed if you expect more than shade for the beach or park.Overall I am happy with the purchase and I would recommend it for those who plan on only using it for simple shade solution.

This serves my purposes, which is indoor use although I suppose it would be fine outdoors as a sun shelter. Under no circumstances would I attempt to use this for actual camping because it doesn't seem at all watertight.I marked it down one star because of the design of the front zipper. For the life of me, I can't figure out why the back vent "window" has two zipper handles but the front "door" opening only has one! This is a major design flaw! I would like the option of unzipping the tent from the top or the bottom but that's just not possible with this design. (It's hard to let family pets in and out when you have to zip all the way from the top to bottom to open the door!)

You get what you pay for. It is fine as a tent to be used as a toy more than for camping. If you have experience with those car window shades that twist onto themselves, putting it back in the carrying case shouldn't be too difficult to figure out. If you don't, well, the directions certainly won't help much. I think I should have gone with the similarly priced pop up Coleman, but I was worried because all the reviews mentioned the weak zippers.

This thing is so difficult to fold up that I had to find a video tutorial to even attempt it. Even after that it is difficult. Other than that, it is great.

A lot bigger than I thought. Easy to put up, it just pops right up on it's own And right back down, which is great. Of course, it has a plastic/chemical smell to it, but I'm sure it will be better once it airs out. My daughter loves this tent. She says she lives in it now.

Impossible to refold once out of the bag

Great play time for grandkids, dose take a little practice to get it to fold and twist back into the bag but can be done.

BOUGHT THIS TO TAKE TO THE BEACH FOR MY INFANT CHILD, WORKS GREAT AS LONG AS YOU TIE DOWN.
