It's Buckingham!
It's a short album. No, not all the tracks are "You can go your own way" or "Big love" but it's Lindsey Buckingham! This album shows he's still got it. Great songwriting and incredible playing. Still one of the best live guitarists I've ever seen live.

The genius behind Fleetwood Mac strikes again
Stevie Nicks is the most overrated artist in popular music. She can hardly play piano or any instrument. All of her songs with Fleetwood Mac should've been co-writes with Buckingham who had to organize her tunes. She admits it. Isn't it funny that the two times Buckingham has left the Mac they've felt the need to hire TWO guitarists to replace him? There's a reason for that. Lindsey is the master behind Fleetwood Mac (along with Christine McVie to a degree). Lindsey always pushed the Mac towards experimentation. If the cocaine fueled Nicks and Fleetwood seriously thought that any followup to Rumours was going to be as successful they were even more nuts than I think they are. I have seen Lindsey perform as a solo artist several times, and the concerts were way more enjoyable and personable than the money making sell out that Fleetwood Mac has become. His latest, self-titled solo offering only continues his stunning artistic legacy. I hope to see him on tour again!

Strong album from our favourite musical genius
This album is excellent! Lindsey certainly kept us waiting between releases (this is his first solo studio album since 2011) but the wait is worth it. The songs are catchy and the production is fantastic, as expected from this guy. There is a little something for everyone here. You get the gorgeous pop songs (I Don't Mind, Scream), the searing guitar solos (On The Wrong Side, Swan Song), the eccentric weirdness (Power Down), the layered fingerpicking guitars (Blue Light), the dreamy chillout tracks (Santa Rosa), the somewhat left-field cover (Time), and of course the lyrical digs at Stevie Nicks (Swan Song, Dancing).Overall it's a really strong album, tight and lean at 10 tracks and 37 minutes. It's really fantastic to have Lindsey back after personal issues and the health scare with his heart and vocal cords. I so hope we get a few more releases as good as this one before this guy finally calls time on his career!

Great Lindsey Record!
If you liked the 70’s-80’s Mac, you should like this. Thoroughly modern sounding yet has that vintage Fleetwood Mac vibe with a healthy dollop of Lindsey Buckingham’s unique style. SQ is very good in spite of being rather highly compressed.

At midnight I'm in between and wondering why.
I didn't enjoy 2017's "Buckingham McVie" which was originally intended to be a new Fleetwood Mac album. I'm glad to find Buckingham back to his usual self here. Granted, these songs were done before "Buckingham McVie" and were shelved for four years. They are timeless, however. Sounds like he made them in 2021.I was disappointed last year when COVID-19 hit. I was set to see Buckingham live and do a 'meet and greet' with him. I was really looking forward to it. I've never seen Fleetwood Mac or Buckingham live. That all changed with COVID canceling everything. Now I see he is coming again, but no meet and greet (obviously). I'll pass. I don't go to concerts anymore (the last concert being Pet Shop Boys in 1999). It's outrageously overpriced now, so I refuse.Anyway, I digress. The new self-titled album is every bit as good as his last three solo albums. The only song I wasn't too keen on was the last song, "Dancing", but even that grew on me. I really like "On the Wrong Side" with its "Go Your Own Way" guitar outro. Same with "Santa Rosa" and it's catchy chorus. I found "Blue Light" to tear a page from the Paul Simon handbook a la "Graceland" or "The Rhythm of the Saints". In fact, it closely resembled "The Boy in the Bubble" from "Graceland" for me. Elsewhere, "Scream", "I Don't Mind", and "Swan Song" were all good and well. "Blind Love" and "Time" were nice ballads. "Power Down" was another favorite of mine with its frenetic bursts of guitar picking. All in all, I don't think, at age 73, that Buckingham ever needs to return to Fleetwood Mac. He is making far more personal and interesting music on his own. I hope to not wait another decade for the next solo album. Here's how "Lindsey Buckingham" compares to previous solo works:1981 Law and Order: Three and a Half Stars1984 Go Insane: Three and a Half Stars1992 Out of the Cradle: Five Stars2006 Under the Skin: Four Stars2008 Gift of Screws: Four Stars2011 Seeds We Sow: Four Stars2021 Lindsey Buckingham: Four Stars

Masterpiece album
An absolutely superb album. Lindsey Buckingham's output since 2006's acoustic-driven "Under the Skin" has been stellar. Though 10 years separate 2011's "Seeds We Sow" from this release, we're still in the same universe. An electric guitar "Second Hand News"-feeling track here ("Scream"), a "Tusk" recalling rocker there ("On the Wrong Side") and a harmony-FM-sounding track to top it all off ("I Don't Mind") - Lindsey is firing on all cylinders here. The sound of the vinyl pressing is superb and plays gorgeously. Very satisfied with this purchase and highly, highly recommend this visionary's new vision! Here's to a new album in 2023.

Superb! Awesome i Cudna plyta tego wykonawcy. Goraco polecam.
Klasa sama w sobie.
