Block City

My 5 year old loves this book & it has inspired him to try & recreate the city built of blocks in the book even using our couch as the mountain! I do wish it had more pages, and even more scenerios to recreate. But the pictures are awesome and the city the kid built was very inspiring for my son! I don't know of any other books like this with beautiful pictures of blocks. He gets the Childrens Highlights magazine and there is always one page in there with something you can build with blocks, and its one of our favorite pages too in this magazine!

Our family loves this book. It is a well-written book that adults won't mind reading and kids will also enjoy. I like the imagination and the pictures.

One of the best books to introduce architecture to young children. The book does a great job connecting a child's creation to popular buildings in a child-friendly way. Great book!

A very nice literary add-on to a present of blocks! Encourages imagination in block play. Love the illustrations which depict mixed block types, a perfect way to extend any building set. Highly recommended.
