Some new neighbors from Rwanda moved into our apartment complex in France. They were apparently placed & aided into this lodging as refugees by the Government. Rwanda if you'll remember was that nation that had a terrible genocide a few years back. This couple had 5 children ages 20 months to 12 years old, 2 boys 3 girls. Only the 9 year old boy spoke some phrases in English, everything else was Swahili. I'm American and live part time in France. This family literally had nothing but the clothes on their backs. They slept on the floor, had no eating utensils, no phone, no laundry, no hygiene needs. The whole apartment complex pulled together and donated everything from beds, tables & chairs, clothing, lamps, sheets and blankets, dishes, utensils, pots & pans, toiletries, towels, handcloths, combs, brushes and mirrors. The children had zero toys and were playing with popsicle sticks. I explained to the 9 year old boy that he and his siblings would get toys in the mail but it would take 4 long weeks to arrive as it had to be shipped from the US to France. [BTW the shipping costs was 90% of the the products costs] (a soccer ball, a flute, some Dr. Seuss books, a couple of board games and dolls). So this doll was one of the toys that had been ordered. I guess the little girl was happy with it as the 9 year old informed me a week ago that they got their stuff. With kids, if there's no complaints, all is good.

This little doll brings such joy to my toddler.My toddler always carries her around the house.I love that is not too big and is a perfect fit for our family.The dolls hair is well made and I love the material used in making her.It is washable as such my toddler can do her morning and night time routines with her.Don't sit on the fence on this one.This doll is a pleasure to have

The doll was adorable BUT I ordered for a 4 year old who wants to b a hairdresser and said mini rubber bands were included to do hairdos and none were included with the doll. A small thing but is why I ordered so was diappointed.But other than that was adorable.

What a beautiful doll, my granddaughter will love it for Christmas!
